The Scout: EPL Matchday 28 Posted on February 27, 2020February 27, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Bournemouth vs Chelsea Bournemouth (16th) have lost two Premier League matches in a row and are now just two points clear of West Ham and Watford, who are both in the relegation zone. Chelsea had an impressive 2-1 win over Spurs last matchday, strengthening their grip on a top four spot, three points clear of Manchester United. Injuries have troubled the Bournemouth defense for much of the season, with an inconsistent backline formation partly to blame for their defensive woes (43 goals conceded). Their recent form hasn’t been any better, failing to keep a single clean sheet in their last 10 matches. Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham (13 goals) is back from injury which will be a welcome boost for team that has lost just twice in their last eight Premier League matches. Six of Bournemouth’s last seven Premier League games have seen over 2.5 goals, and I don’t see this being any different. Suggested Bet: Chelsea WIN & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.70* West Ham vs Southampton West Ham (18th) haven’t won a game in their last seven attempts and face a Southampton squad coming off a win against Aston Villa, and having lost just three times in their last 10 Premier League fixtures. Positives are hard to come by for West Ham. Their players look down on confidence, relegation is looming and they’ve conceded a whopping 14 goals in their last five Premier League games. Southampton are simply the better team right now. They also travel well, having won four of their last five away assignments. The only blemish being Liverpool at Anfield. Southampton under Ralph Hasenhuttl play an aggressive style of football. They should get plenty of chances here, and may only need to convert one of them to come away with the full three points. Suggested Bet: Match Result Southampton @ $2.45* Everton vs Manchester United Everton’s unbeaten streak of five matches ended with a respectable 2-3 loss to Arsenal, while Manchester United have won two straight and are within striking distance of the top four. With Marcus Rashford injured, there were concerns about where United’s goals would come from. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer entrusted Anthony Martial with the role of striker, and he has flourished, scoring in back to back games. There has been plenty of action in Everton’s most recent matches. Both teams have scored in their last five Premier League fixtures, with a total of 20 goals being scored in this span. Everton have been looking to outgun their opponents and I think this will lead to a high scoring match, with Martial a massive chance to continue his run of goals.
