The Scout: EPL Matchday 24 Posted on January 21, 2020January 21, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Tottenham vs Norwich Tottenham (sans Harry Kane) went 0-0 with Watford over the weekend, and have now gone four games without a win. Norwich are still dead last on the table but enter this clash off the back of a 1-0 win over Bournemouth. The game was borderline unwatchable, but every win from here on is priceless for the Canaries. It’s troubling times at the Spurs who will be without Kane until April (at best) and have gone goalless in their last three Premier League fixtures. Jose Mourinho is back to his old tricks; putting a real focus on the defensive end of the pitch. Centre-back Toby Alderweireld is fully fit and has been the catalyst for the Spurs conceding just two goals in their last three games. Norwich have only managed five goals in 11 away Premier League fixtures this season, including zero from their last two games. The Spurs should have too much class across the board here in what’s shaping as another dour affair. Suggested Bet: Tottenham Win to Nil @ $2.55* Manchester United vs Burnley Burnley come into this match off the back of their best performance of the season; a 2-1 win over Leicester. The win snapped a four game losing streak in the Premier League, with the Clarets now in 14th spot, five points clear of relegation. On the road, Burnley are conceding 1.8 goals per game while scoring in almost two thirds of these matches. Although inconsistent, they have been at the very least entertaining. Manchester United have a similar problem – they can score goals but can’t prevent them. They have scored in all 11 games at Old Trafford this season, while keeping a clean sheet just three times. United have lost just once at home all season and it’s difficult to see this becoming number two. What I’m not so confident is their ability to hold out a Burnley side that looked to have turned a corner last weekend against Leicester. Suggested Bet: Manchester United Win & Both Teams To Score @ $3.30* Wolverhampton vs Liverpool Liverpool remain undefeated, 16 points clear of Manchester City. There’s not much more to say about this side that are putting together a near-perfect season. The Reds have scored 12 goals in their last five away matches, while last season’s Golden Boot winner, Mohamed Salah, has five goals from his last seven Premier League appearances. Wolves (6th) have been fantastic through 23 games, but (surprisingly) have kept just one clean sheet at home all season. I think they’ll struggle here against the cream of the Premier League, with the Egyptian superstar looking a great bet to find the back of the net at least once. Suggested Bet: Mohamed Salah Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.30* *Odds correct as at 3pm, 21st January 2020. Market Market
