The Scout: EPL Final Day Posted on May 21, 2021May 21, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Aston Villa vs Chelsea Aston Villa (11th) are a different outfit when star midfielder Jack Grealish is in the lineup. Playing his first game since February over the weekend, Grealish didn’t trouble the scorers but was the difference maker in Villa’s 2-1 away win over Tottenham. The equation is simple for Chelsea (3rd). Win and they lock up 3rd spot on the table, ensuring Champions League football next season. Any other result and they could fall as low as 5th. With Grealish back running the offense, Villa recorded an impressive 20 attempts on goal against Tottenham. And despite Chelsea’s defensive exploits this season, they have conceded in their last three Premier League fixtures. Ultimately I see the Blues having too much to play for in this one, but goals for both teams. Suggested Bet: Chelsea WIN & Both Teams To Score @ $3.10* Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Liverpool (4th) have rattled off four straight wins for the first time this season and can now guarantee a top four finish with a win here against Crystal Palace (13th), who have mixed their form, and are fresh off a 3-1 loss to Arsenal. Liverpool’s Mo Salah has scored 22 goals for the season which has him equal-first with Harry Kane in the race for the Premier League’s Golden Boot. While his focus will be on the three points, there’s no doubt the goal scoring trophy will be adding a little extra motivation. Salah has found the back of the net twice in his last three games but hasn’t been the first goal scorer since Liverpool’s draw with Newcastle back in April. He loves to strike early and he is due for a first goal in what could be a big game for the Egyptian superstar. Suggested Bet: Mo Salah First Goal Scorer @ $2.80* Leicester vs Tottenham Leicester (5th) look likely to have their triumph in the FA Cup Final quickly soured by missing out on a top four finish by the narrowest of margins. Tottenham (7th) will be disappointed with their season, but have won three of their last five matches and will close to full strength here. Leicester had been superb all season but have now won just one of their last four matches including losses to Newcastle (4-2) and Chelsea (2-1). Just one point from either of these games might have been enough to have seen them in the Champions League next season. Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have had their best season as a duo, responsible for a total 39 goals combined. Leicester’s season peaked last weekend in the FA Cup Final and I think they will now be resided to missing the top four, making them vulnerable against the Spurs. Suggested Bet: Tottenham (Match Result) @ $3.30* *Odds correct as at 6pm, 20th May 2021. Market Market
