The Scout: EPL Best Bets Posted on July 3, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Manchester United vs Bournemouth Manchester United (5th) have now gone eight matches undefeated and find themselves just three points behind third placed Leicester. In contrast, Bournemouth (19th) have lost four Premier League fixtures in a row and look likely to be relegated at seasons end. To make matters worse they are still face Manchester City, Tottenham and Leicester. There is a new favourite at Old Trafford in Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes. Signed just this season, Fernandes has brought a winning mentality to the Red Devils and picked up his first Premier League brace earlier in the week. Bournemouth have conceded an average of two goals per game over their last six. They simply cannot stop teams from scoring, and this was evident by their recent 4-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle. United will look to dominate possession and dictate the play and tempo of this match. They should have too much to play for and too many weapons here. Suggested Bet: Bruno Fernandes Anytime Goal Scorer and Manchester United Win by 2+ Goals @ $3* Wolverhampton vs Arsenal An eight game undefeated streak sees Wolves right in the mix for a top four finish. Qualifying for the Champions League would be a huge achievement and a win against Arsenal will put them one step closer. Arsenal restarted their Premier League campaign poorly, but look to be turning things around. A top four finish is out of the question however the Gunners need to end the season strongly to keep the support of their fans. Wolverhampton have won three in a row, all witout conceding a goal. In fact, Wolves have kept a clean sheet in seven out of their last eight Premier League matches. The Gunners have plenty of injury concerns and have been struggling to find consistency in attack. Coming up against such an impressive defense, Arsenal might struggle to hit the scoreboard. Wolves are the one of the form teams of the competition right now and I see no reason to go against them here. Suggested Bet: Match Result Wolverhampton @ $2.20* Chelsea vs Watford Chelsea had a disappointing mid-week loss to London rivals West Ham and have opened the door for Manchester United to pounce on 4th place. Watford have had back to back losses in the Premier League and are only one point above relegation. A defeat could see them drop into the relegation zone, a position they might not be able to climb back out of. A 3-1 defeat to Southampton at home earlier this week showed exactly where Watford are. They come away with just one Premier League victory in nine matches. The Blues have no trouble scoring. Since the Premier League resumed Chelsea have scored two goals in each of their three matches. It is the defensive end that has been troubling, with the London side conceding five goals in these three matches. After their shock loss to West Ham, Chelsea must win this match to maintain their hold on 4th spot. They are clearly the better side and shouldn’t have any issue creating genuine chances at goal. Suggested Bet: Chelsea WIN & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.10* *Odds correct as at 9am, 3rd July 2020. Market Market
