Sully’s NRL Preview – Round 19 Posted on July 13, 2017July 14, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan Origin is over for another year with Queensland once again prevailing and it’s now time to turn our attention to the last 8 rounds of the Telstra Premiership season. Round 19 kicks off in New Zealand on Friday night where the Warriors and Panthers clash in a pivotal match. Both are locked together on 18 premiership points and are aware a win here is essential for their finals prospects. Also on Friday the Raiders welcome the Dragons to the ACT with both sides desperate for victory. Canberra need to win to put pressure on teams in the 8 while the Dragons will be looking to consolidate their 7th position on the table. On Saturday the heartbroken Knights welcome former Coach Wayne Bennett and his Broncos to McDonald Jones Stadium. The Titans await the Sharks and after claiming their scalp earlier in the season will be looking for a repeat performance against the defending Premiers who flexed their muscles in their title defence last round against the Roosters. Sunday sees the Sea Eagles back at Lottoland where they take on the 15th placed West Tigers. To finish the round the Rabbitohs take a home game to Barlow Park in Cairns and welcome the 6th placed Cowboys to join them in what should be a high scoring affair.
