In-form veteran who has been in grand form over the 715 metres with his last 5 starts yielding 2 wins and 2 seconds. Drops back to the 600 metre trip tonight but has the early pace to land in a forward spot and will be very strong to the line. Has been ticking along beautifully and looms as the one to beat.

Race 8 No. 5 WEST ON DOSSY

Handy campaigner who has won 2 of his 3 starts here over the 600 metre journey. Ran a nice 3rd in last week’s Distance final at Mandurah over the 647 metres behind the talented duo of Dubliner and Senator Monelli. This race is a lot easier than what he met there and with a safe getaway he should be right in the finish.
