Going to kick things off with the lightly raced daughter of Tommy Shelby, coming off a very nippy win at Mandurah in 17.27 where she led all the way from the squeeze box. Goes into the Cherry box in this and should be almighty hard to hold out.

Race 5 No. 2 Maxwell Smart

This fellow is dropping in grade big time, coming out of city novices where he’s been running cheeky races, back to Country novice grade here and if he can get around the first turn unscathed? He will be hard to stop. Small field will help him in his endeavour to do so.

Tips: 2-1-8-5

Race 8 No. 4 Raw Steel

He’s had two runs back now from a let up, looks set to peak here in this. Led for a long way from box 5 last start, only to be pipped on the post. Running 29.70 getting beat. Fitter again here, should roll to the front and be hard to run down.
