Scott Embry’s Wednesday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 10, 2024December 10, 2024 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 BOYZ LITE UP, RIBELLATO and STAR PROPHET will dominate this market between the three of them – but given they’re all stepping out to 2000m for the first time in their lives it’s hard to tip into any of them with great confidence but have a feeling given the speed figures of the race that money will come for BOYZ LITE UP who backs up off 7 days from another strong finishing effort from a long way back and now draws to get a soft run. RIBELLATO comes through the Antz Pantz Baby / Summer’s Legacy race that will be highly popular in the second event. STAR PROPHET looks the kind of horse who can be saved up for one late burst of speed over the trip. SPANISH KAT wasn’t horrible at Albany. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – BOYZ LITE UP WIN RACE 2 SUMMER’S LEGACY was plunge into $1.50 last start and missed by the most narrow of margins. She’s a 3 year old filly with only 54.5kg on her back, she looks like she’ll stay the trip and she’s drawn to do absolutely no work in the run. With clear galloping room expect she’ll sprint past them late. She’ll be ~$1.35? SNIFFY TIFFY was well found at odds last start and ran very well. If she reproduces she’s there abouts. AGRABAH is a real one paced staying type who will whack away. HOLY DIVER looks like he needs another lap. Numbers: 11 – 9 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – SUMMER’S LEGACY WIN RACE 3 FAVOURITE SONGS should be able to fire straight out towards the outside fence and from there at double figures she should be giving plenty of cheek. Meets Daytona Pete 1kg better for a half length margin and now Luke Fernie adds the blinkers. Right place, right time. SUPERNATURAL has always trialled like a filly who would be winning plenty of races. Just needs a clear run at them as she’s likely to settle off the speed. SCENIC GEORGE gives 110% and should land in a forward position over the speed. DAYTONA PETE won well this track/distance last start. Numbers: 7 – 9 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – FAVOURITE SONGS EACHWAY RACE 4 MAGIC BELLE has been trialling well for her return to racing. She’s 1 for 1 down the 1000m straight, she’s got gate speed and after the Chanel Cooper claim she has only 56.5kg on her back. Looks the right kind of race for her to pinch another. CIAO LUNA didn’t handle dirt racing at all. Forgive, forget and remember that she’s a 1000m straight winner on the grass previously. KIA ORA TATOU has shades on, is aggressively placed and is drawn towards the outside fence. BERRY BERRY GOOD ran berry well (I make no apologies) at Narrogin fresh. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 2 – 10 Suggested Bet – MAGIC BELLE WIN RACE 5 BUTTERFLY HOUSE drew barrier 1 last start and went huge behind key rival Go Go Grommet. There’s a 1kg weight swing but more importantly is that she goes from barrier 1 (inside) to barrier 10 (outside). Just needs to weave a passage through traffic to play a part. GO GO GROMMET is a different horse down the 1000m straight. He won impressively on debut and last start he exploded when CJP asked him to accelerate. This is a similar line-up, he should again muster and find a position close handy to the speed and looks hard to beat again. AVOIDANCE is quick and will look for the outside fence. LOST GRAVITY always gets back. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – BUTTERFLY HOUSE EACHWAY RACE 6 AT YOUR SERVICE is brilliantly placed by Luke Fernie. Last Wednesday she won a 3 year old 0MWLY with 55.5kg and 7 days later she only carries an extra 1.5kg dropping back in grade into a C1. Whenever we see this set up the money invariably comes thick and fast and usually they run very, very well. SKYTALKER is a sharp horse and the recent trial suggests that he’s ready to make his way through the grades this preparation. Hard to hold out late. I’M NIPOTE was well supported last weekend and ran well without much luck. SAULOK sneaks back in grade and draws far better. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – AT YOUR SERVICE WIN RACE 7 ROMMEO ran well first-up over 1200m and then even better second-up over 1400m in a C3 when finishing within 1L of in form mare Belta Of A Song. The opening meeting at Pinjarra was suiting those three deep with cover and if that’s the case again on Wednesday then he’ll be hard to hold out. MILLY’S CLEVER TOO can sustain a big run from the rear of the field. They’ve figured out how to ride her. WHAT’S THE POINT is very raw but he’s clearly tough and talented. Real X-Factor. KHUTOS can kick through to lead or box seat. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 3 Suggested Bet – ROMMEO WIN RACE 8 BARTIME was back to his best last start and is kept fresh here by Brett Pope. Expect that Shaun McGruddy can have him free wheeling along out in front again and back to 1200m he should be in front for a long way. HISTORY WON’T CARE is a lightly raced 4 year old with plenty of upside about him. Drawn wide and will naturally settle off speed but if they can make ground then watch for him to be swooping late. ELBOW LOUNGE has promised to make his way through the grades for a while. EN PLEIN AIR had no luck down the straight fresh. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 1 – 10 Suggested Bet – BARTIME EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,3,4,7,10 2,8 1,3,4,5 4,6 Market Market
