Won a 400m jump out at Lark Hill in June 2022 beating home sharp 3 year olds Ruler Rocket and Planet Cash and then in his 1000m trial he comfortably broke 1 minute and looked really professional. Hugs the outside fence on debut and takes running down. SUPER SNIPPY is yet to win one but has been knocking on the door. We always say that the straight track experience is worth a bit and while he’s now had three cracks at it and been beaten on each occasion, he’s getting very close. Third behind Deep Envy (subsequent C1 winner) and Frantic War (subsequent maiden winner) on debut, second to Frantic War and then second to Magnum Class. MANGANUI trialled well. SNAZZLER is still raw. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – GO GO GROMMET WIN RACE 2 OUTFIELD was well thought of on debut without a trial and should only improve second-up and with some weight coming off his back after the Luke Campbell claim. His 1000m debut form is on show in Race 1 through Super Snippy and if that galloper was to win (or run a strong second to Go Go Grommet) it will look the right form. Hard to beat at his second career outing. RED FLORA is likely to sit on the second line of betting and his recent trial win over Santa Brae was strong. LAND OF FIRE comes right back to 1000m. Not sure how if he’ll find them too slick early? ENDLESS BOUNTY has shown ability here and there at trials. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – OUTFIELD WIN RACE 3 PLAYING ON THE ROX was beaten over 5L on debut behind Yonga Lass and subsequent winner Manhattan Strip. At her second start she improved noticeably when beaten 4.4L by Manhattan Strip, Kisses from Kelly and Sassy Skye. Was held up (slightly) into the home straight and did a good job late in the race. Looks a very thin maiden. DEVIL GIRL comes through a race where she and Rubirock got right away from the rest of the field. Don’t think that was a deep maiden by any stretch but she’s getting fitter into the campaign and did have to come out and around the heels of the leader in that event, whereas here it looks like she can kick through and hold the top or again take over on Horus. HORUS gains Pike but think 1700 will likely see him out. NORTHEAST EAGLE is a one batter. Numbers: 9 – 8 – 6 – 2 Suggested Bet – PLAYING ON THE ROX WIN RACE 4 MYSTIC JANE trialled like a filly who would be hard to beat at her return to the races. She was thrown into the deep end when contesting a 60+ Graduation behind No Change and subsequent winner Cobbanco. She was only beaten 6L at that level and now drops back into a maiden. Versatile filly who should be winning one very soon. DEBONNAIRE was extremely strong late in betting at his return to the races. He’s clearly a better galloper than he was on debut when he was beaten in a Geraldton maiden. He’ll be popular again and understandably so. BEATS OF WAR was solid enough on debut to suggest he’s a top 3 player second-up. HEAVENLY MISS is a long time maiden but for the first time in a while Neville Parnham calls on a senior rider. Numbers: 8 – 3 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – MYSTIC JANE WIN RACE 5 LIL’ BIRD TOLD ME made her debut when a luckless fourth behind Dessenea and subsequent maiden winner Manhattan Strip. Loomed large at her second outing but couldn’t go with Zouboltz late in the race. Should only be improving with race experience and fitness and she’s leaving the gates well enough to roll forward into a prominent position. CHINOBROWN was eye-balled by Pollash a long way from home on debut and they fought a two horse war down the straight. SEND ‘EM ran well fresh and if Debonnaire wins Race 4 it will look like good form. IDENTIFIER was scratched from Albany on Sunday and finds herself in a slightly deeper maiden on Wednesday at Pinjarra. Numbers: 9 – 4 – 11 – 1 Suggested Bet – LIL’ BIRD TOLD ME WIN RACE 6 FEELS DANISH sneaks back into a C5 and might get under the radar. She has been a little hit and miss over the last 6 months but it was hard to ignore her fresh run on 11 March in a 66+ behind Friar Away and Let’sdeal. She then went around a $12 chance in another 66+ won by Friar Away and she sat wide throughout without any luck at all. Regular rider back on and likely to be double figures in an easier race from a far better draw. FLOAT OUR BOAT had his first start for Ike Racing and while it had only been 14 days between outings it didn’t stop his ever-growing following launching into the horse at a juicy price. Was $31 into $10 and was only beaten a length behind Magic Whistle. MAGIC WHISTLE did nothing but drift in betting in the same race and yet proved the market wrong. He’s likely to be easy in betting again here. FEAR THE WIND has shown staying ability in an interrupted career. Pike aboard a big tick. Numbers: 8 – 9 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – FEELS DANISH EACHWAY RACE 7 AZENA had no luck at her return to racing. She was always going to map awkwardly from barrier 6 of 7 over the 1000 and while Michael Poy did get a bit of cover in the middle stages it was probably for less than 100m. She was basically 3 deep the trip and to be only beaten 5L by Leniency, Supersession and Pot Shot is a good effort all things considered. Right back in grade and drawn to get a lovely run. Her 3-year-old form is arguably better than what most of these bring. SUPPORTIVE burst onto the scene with back to back wins in a maiden and C1 and then was far from disgraced behind Michelada and Miss Field last start. LUCKY LANDING showed a big turn of foot to win last start. Impressive. WHAT A PRINCE can roll to the top and get things his own way. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – AZENA WIN RACE 8 MISSILE STORM is better than what he produced last start. His maiden win was in what looked an unsuitable 1200m and he yet he defied the drift and got away from them late in the race after pushing his way into the clear. He then went from a maiden into a C3, settled last and ran last. Only beaten 4.5L and it was a race where the leader won (Mack Mack) and the second horse sat leader’s back (Noteworthy). This is a far more suitable race. ARCADIA STAR raced in restricted room first-up but thought she had her chance if good enough. Jury is still out on her. Learn a lot about her future from the perfect draw/map. MINE HOST destroyed moderate opposition to win his maiden by a whopping 5.2L. PRINCESS DEJOUR is yet another tried horse who has joined the Anthony Barton/Simone Altieri combination and improved significantly. Numbers: 1 – 10 – 4 – 14 Suggested Bet – MISSILE STORM WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,2,4,9,11 2,4,6,7,8,9 1,4,6 1,4,10 Market Market
