Can sit just behind the speed and pounce. YARDMAN looks likely to sit deep or sit off them and has been trialing like he would be in the finish. HIDDEN PLANET draws poorly on debut but it is hard to fault either of the last two trial victories. SOWAR looks to have ability but will need some luck from the wide alley. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 8 – 2 Suggested Bet – RETURN TO OZ WIN Race 2 AMELIA’S CONTRAIRE comes from WA’s premier juvenile stable, was supported in two solid enough outings as a 2 year old and now as a 3 year old filly returns to the races with blinkers added off the back of a strong trial victory. Options a plenty from the draw and hard to beat. SHERPA LASS has only had the one trial and debuts as a 4 year old mare. Looks to have her fair share of ability. MISS QUOTED has shades added and is better suited at 1200m. If they’re making ground, include in the mix. EURASIA caught the eye first-up. Numbers: 10 – 7 – 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – AMELIA’S CONTRAIRE WIN Race 3 BLACK RUSSIAN has only had the one start over a journey but it was in a genuinely run staying event, almost 3 lengths above average. Drops back in grade, should slide forward to sit close handy and should outstay them on that Saturday effort. UNCLE LINO has been well supported at his last few runs and is knocking on the door. Leads without challenge. PICTURE PERFECT backs up off 7 days and looks like he will stay. OUR MATE AL should be ready to put in a run. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – BLACK RUSSIAN WIN Race 4 THREADS OF IVEY has been racing well and without a lot of luck this preparation. Draws the cutaway and if she can hold leader’s back then can give this a shake at a price. SAN CRISPINO has been whacking away and improving at every outing this campaign. SUGAR CAIN is the obvious but lumps 59.5 and will settle a fair way off them. FRIAR AWAY showed staying potential last start and drops in grade. Numbers: 10 – 9 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – THREADS OF IVEY EACHWAY Race 5 ONYA HEAD drops from a 2000 back to a 1700 and should get things his own way. If the track is suiting those on speed then he’ll take running down. ALMASTER comes down from Carnarvon with an alternate form reference. Has been going well and back on the grass improves. SCINTILLATING has had his fair share of chances but was able to sprint well fresh and caught the eye. GALAH rarely runs a bad race. Numbers: 2 – 6 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – ONYA HEAD WIN Race 6 HEAVENLY AFFAIR comes from a 3 year old race which has already proven a strong form reference. Lookout was backed strongly and got the chocolates on Saturday and Heavenly Affair was just as good, if not better. Big weight and a query at the trip but undeniably the class runner. MELTEME has been around the place all campaign and drops back in trip. GOOD FORTUNE is a query at the trip but should get an economical run. BLITZ ‘EM BOOTS hit the line hard to suggest the step up suits. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – HEAVENLY AFFAIR WIN Race 7 PALACHINO is her own worst enemy but all runs this campaign have been good enough to win this. Last start comes from what could prove a super strong form reference and there is not as much depth in this. If she can get out cleanly she’ll take beating. PRINCE TURBO has been off the scene for a long time but trialed well and has ability. MAGIC PLANET was a forgive run last start when a returning rider was still getting his eye in. ABBY LANE is drawn poorly but has shades added and good overall form and figures. Numbers: 9 – 2 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – PALACHINO WIN Race 8 DAWN ARMADA never got into the race first-up over 1000m. Back in grade, far better suited over the 1200m, drawn ideally and hailing from an inform stable. Should get every opportunity to rebound. POINT TAKEN comes from a hot form race. Uni Time, Next Stop The Moon, I’m Icey. Will need luck and up in grade but capable. ORAVA returns first-up no trial and showed an abundance of natural ability in his first preparation. PEARL GIRL has been a shade disappointing since two sizzling trials. Numbers: 2 – 9 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – DAWN ARMADA WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,3,4,6 1,2 9 2,3,6,9 Market Market
