Scott Embry’s Wednesday Ascot Preview Posted on May 8, 2018May 8, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 ALTA SULL’AMORE never saw daylight in her most recent run and was arguably just as good as the two likely equal favourites. They’ll take up almost 100% of the market and she could surprise at a price. ACONITE was an eye catcher on the replay and just has to contend with the inside in a small field. INVISIBLE PRO was able to box seat in the same event and goes close. ALTAMONT hit the line on a day when leaders were heavily suited. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – ALTA SULL’AMORE EACHWAY Race 2 YEAH BRAVO was brave in defeat at his most recent and should slide forwards. Expecting a day where runners will be making ground off the fence so Steve Parnham will need to get him rolling into the corner. MIDNIGHT SKY is all likelihood wins this race by panels but as was shown on Saturday, backing odds on pops will send you broke. TYSON FIGHT is very one paced and should get a track to suit those winding up. SCORELINE continues to impress without winning. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – YEAH BRAVO PLACE Race 3 VENA SCHNITZEL has been solid without recapturing her best of her maiden campaign. Suggesting that the trip is right up her alley and she should settle midfield and make her way towards the 3 wide train. SHE’S GOT MERIT was never on the track first-up and with a postage stamp weight is thrown in. GLOBAL RESET was far from disgraced in a Group Feature and the debut win was exceptional. ADMIRAL PROMO capitalized on a Pike special on debut. Numbers: 12 – 11 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – VENA SCHNITZEL EACHWAY Race 4 LET’S TWIST was in a grumpier mood at Narrogin than Big Col on Twitter last week and ran accordingly. If she parades well and reproduce her run two starts back in Saturday grade then she can win. HAY MAGIC was well supported at her most recent and was a far better run sectionally than reads on paper. I DONE IT won with a leg in the air at Albany in good time, expect support. WONORG is consistent and getting closer. Numbers: 1 – 8 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – LET’S TWIST EACHWAY Race 5 CHESTEN FLYER resumed as a surprise favorite in Saturday grade and looked in trouble with 600 to go but found another gear late to run a very good race. The dreaded bar plates do go on so playing with caution. LIES IN DISGUISE is best allowed to utilize her brilliant speed and run them ragged. OREGON BRONZE took a while to break her maiden but trialed up well. IZ THAT RIGHT should get a lovely run, next best. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – CHESTEN FLYER WIN Race 6 MASSACHUSETTS is a suck horse, she’s got me more than a few times but this would be one of her most winnable assignments in a long while. She does her best work fresh and most likely gets track conditions to suit. UNDISCLOSED was held up at crucial stages while others made their moves last start. DAWN MISSION has put together two barnstorming finishes. DELANEY trialed up well for a return after having bled at his only run last preparation. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – MASSACHUSETTS EACHWAY SuperPick - Race 6 No. 2 MASSACHUSETTS - Place Boost Race 7 CLEVER DICK may not have track conditions to suit with most winners expected to come down the middle of the track however, if Knuckey can allow him to roll he may pinch it. OUR BONNIE GIRL was solid in her maiden win and gets a lovely economical run. ST BEL has blinkers added and both runs this preparation have been good. ANCIENT HOPE looked a nice type at her return. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – CLEVER DICK WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,2,3,6,8 1,6 2,3,4,5,7 1,5,6,7,9 Bet Now
