Scott Embry’s Thursday Bunbury Preview Posted on March 10, 2021March 10, 2021 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 OZZY BOY comes out of a 3 year old 0MWLY 1000m straight race at Pinjarra when running third behind Savage One and Spicy Dancer. He beat home winners Fish Hook and Shock Result in that race and even drops 1.5kg coming back into a maiden. Mitch Pateman takes over riding duties, drawn a gate, hard to beat. THE FIBONNACI scratched from Wednesday to save for this. 1100 does look more his go than 1000 and he has always flashed ability at trials. TYPE WON wins one eventually but definitely become frustrating. RANGA ROLL has run some nice races in her short career. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 8 – 9 Suggested Bet – OZZY BOY WIN RACE 2 KAPTAIN KAOS finds a new home with Michael Grantham. Recent trial was impressive under Chris Parnham and he raced predominantly without luck in his initial campaign. Has always looked above average and could sneak under the guard in early markets. Handy horse. OCEANIC RIDER is the X-Factor and intrigue as a 2 year old taking on the older horses on debut. Recent trial was excellent when kicking into the corner and running away from them. STARLIFT has done nothing wrong in two outings to date. ASTRO WARRIOR was plunged last start and did too much wrong in the middle stages. Numbers: 4 – 11 – 9 – 4 Suggested Bet – KAPTAIN KAOS WIN RACE 3 ALLMAMONEY finds a new stable with the Pearce Brothers and the two runs of this filly have both been simply enormous. She draws a gate for the first time in her career, steps to 1400m and if she can reproduce her final 600m splits from a better position in running she will take serious beating. Keen. ETOMORP looked to have Antique Jewel cold on debut but just peaked last 50m. Big query on that form with Antique Jewel and Surveillance both flopping since. MOLLY MAGEE has been battling away in metro maidens. POWERFUL FORCE is no star, going alright but continually going round unders. Numbers: 9 – 5 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – ALLMAMONEY WIN RACE 4 CREZEE gets his chance in a staying maiden. Returned in super order for Hec Mclaren with three runs in so far including a minor placing behind King Cruzer and then a fourth to Lincolns Law and Olden at his most recent. Screaming out for this trip and with very moderate opposition on exposed form he does look to have found his race on paper. JAFETICA is only having her third start but does look like she’ll stick the trip. Not a bad effort at her most recent. ELLEVISTA has been battling away in these maidens for a while. SCOOTIN gets a soft run along the fence. Numbers: 2 – 14 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – CREZEE WIN RACE 5 PRIZED NEMESIS really came of age when joining the stables of Anne King last preparation. His trial was brilliant, his first-up effort was huge, his second-up win was arrogant and this third up run was eye catching after getting no luck in a race which wasn’t run to suit. Drawn a soft gate, fresh, he ticks a few boxes. MONG KHON ran into a pair of smart 3 year olds in Blow Me Out and Mystery Man last start in an arguably stronger race than this. IMPRUDENT went down to Albany last week and was simply run off his feet. That race should hold up as a form reference in a provincial C1. MEDELLIN made an encouraging start to his WA career. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – PRIZED NEMESIS WIN RACE 6 DARING SOLEIL can definitely continue the run that Brett Pope is enjoying at the minute. He and Clint Johnston-Porter are teaming up for a lot of winners at the moment and CJP is riding these mid- types of mares brilliantly. If she stays out of trouble she looks very hard to hold out late. KIA ORA STAR has always been around the mark in this grade. Drawn a tough gate but big class drop for him. UNENDING and HIP WIGGLE are both racing well and both will be doing their best work late. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – DARING SOLEIL WIN RACE 7 SWEET DREAMIN’ comes back to his home track, back from 1400 to 1200m and has a senior rider engaged. No luck last start from an impossible draw and drawn between Super Teroitoa and Fair Joy should be sliding across into a prominent position on speed. Worth following up on. PREVAILING WINDS hasn’t won a race for 1000 days. Always a nervous statistic if you’re jumping into him at the price. Should be afforded every mortal hope from the gate by Mitch Pateman and fingers crossed for patient connections that Thursday is the day. SUPER TEROITOA is a type who improves quickly into the preparation. LUCKY LINDA LULU is more than capable in this grade. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – SWEET DREAMIN’ WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,14 1,2,4 1,2,3,4,6 1,2,3,4,6,7,9 Market Market
