Scott Embry’s Sunday Roebourne Preview Posted on June 3, 2021June 6, 2021 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 ARTICULATOR looks the best of a moderate line-up. Ran fourth at Port Hedland at the opening meeting and finished 5L off them but it wasn’t a bad effort and he looks better suited stepping out in trip. VICIOUS VILMA is the new comer and does have exposed form on these types of surface at Pingrup and Kojonup. Consistent mare. MISTINGUETTE was chasing throughout behind Miss Circlework and Galiba. Form holds up. NOT REALLY TRUE needs further. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – ARTICULATOR WIN RACE 2 SNOW PRINCESS has her first start for Dean Cocivera last week at Port Hedland and ran well enough to suggest that she can break her maiden on the back-up. Was only beaten a length and got through the going. MUMSTHEONE is a long time maiden but Jess Gray knows him well and her 1.5kg claim is a luxury in the outer country regions. ENCHANTED FALLS finds a new home and Brett Southcott does a super job with these tried types. KHAVIYAR has always promised to win one. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – SNOW PRINCESS WIN RACE 3 RIVALORA starts a big run of Sean Rains favourites who look awfully hard to toss. Last 90 days Sean Rains is going at 33% strike rate and 62% POT. Just follow the yard while they are in such great form. Will have to get through traffic and off the fence but looks classes above rivals. VICTORIOUSCHINO looks the testing material. Big fan of Chis Gilbert and Jess Gray as a combination and this mare does have some ability. WELD is honest and consistent and should pick up a race or two in the North West this season. PATYS FORCAST is not quite handling the dirt by the looks of replays but the Brian Rogers yard was on fire last Sunday. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – RIVAROLA WIN RACE 4 HERITAGE SASH looks the one on paper and another winner for Sean Rains imposing strike rate. Got the better of long time 64+ country types including Mythical Trust, Calabria Joe, Premio Momento and Klondike Kenny at Carnarvon last start and in his QLD days finished 3L off BM75 company at Eagle Farm. PLEAD THE FIFTH will be winning her fair share of country cups this season. Has been a revelation for Cathy Godden. FRIARS GIFT is getting closer and closer and drops a stack of weight here. WAR KSAR should be a handy acquisition for Tom Pike. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – HERITAGE SASH WIN RACE 5 LA CHIAVE will only improve for the dirt experience after trying the surface for the first time at Carnarvon. Got out well, travelled well and just lost a bit of momentum and was reluctant to hit top gear turning for home when copping her first bit of kick-back. Hit the line well late and should continue to Rains Run. I HOPE YOU DANCE was going super at the back end of the Geraldton season and should win a few. BITOVEMU is capable of holding a spot and should go well for the new yard. VIOTTI is the one and only ride for Rosie Mahony. She looked good at Broome last week. Numbers: 2 – 7 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – LA CHIAVE WIN RACE 6 URBAN GIRL is an ideal dirt jump and run horse. Ran them ragged at Carnarvon first-up at 1200m and should only improve fitness wise here. Looks an enormous day on paper for Tash Faithful (we’ve tipped her to ride the quaddie) and this is another plumb steer. Takes luck out of the equation with her race pattern. DESIGNATED DRINKER always finishes off races well but concedes them a head start. TUMUT RIVER won well at the opening meeting at Carnarvon. LAMPLIGHT LILI tracked into it like the winner last start but hit a brick wall at the 200. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – URBAN GIRL WIN Quaddie (Race 3 – 6) 1,6 1,2 2,3,6,7 2 Market Market
