Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on February 21, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 MR FAHRENHEIT returns first-up. Second to Praying With God going down a nostril after sitting deep the trip last campaign beating home All The Julz who looks like breaking her maiden on the card. Not asked for an effort in the recent trial and from the gate should get every chance. BEAT THE BRO has put together two good enough runs to be right in the finish. MERCY PREVAILS could get under the radar. Trialing up well. MARTARELLO is a 21 start maiden but all runs this preparation have been good. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – MR FAHRENHEIT WIN Race 2 GOODBYEFEDS has been knocking on the door throughout his career. 9 starts, 6 minors and now W.Pike. He has shown sufficient gate speed in the past to sit in the box seat and should have no excuses here. SEA WAIF beat him home last start but may have to burn a few tickets early to come across from out deep. PULI has shown above average ability at the trials but yet to fully put it together race day. PRETTY FRIAR was a nice recent trial winner. Numbers: 1 – 10 – 3 – 11 Suggested Bet – GOODBYEFEDS WIN Race 3 ORISTANO trialed well down the 1000m straight at Pinjarra Park and was well thought of on debut when getting back and running on hard when finally seeing daylight. That race contained the likes of Massimo and the recent trial win was excellent. Should be too good. RHYTHM STAR draws poorly but ran some reasonable races as a youngste. EEYORE WAYZ improved sharply at start number two. TRISUEM trialed nicely for debut. Numbers: 1 – 11 – 2 – 12 Suggested Bet – ORISTANO WIN Race 4 ALL THE JULZ has loomed the winner at nearly every career outing. The first-up effort was excellent in a 58+ country race at Albany when beaten less than a half head by King of Chaos (who is a 66+ metro winner and C4 galloper). Back into maiden grade, should find the top if Yuill so elects and looks very hard to toss. I HOPE YOU DANCE has put in some good runs this preparation and was never a realistic winning chance from the gate last start. HOOLAHOOPS ran well last start but is drawn awkwardly. ABOARD was better than it looks on paper last start. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – ALL THE JULZ WIN Race 5 CREZEE has really caught the eye at his last two. Two starts ago behind Mexi Cola (now a C2) and Winnie’s Wine was strong late when asked for an effort and then far from disgraced in a midweek 3 year old race. Up to a staying trip gets his chance. CONQUERED ZONE stepping up in trip looks right up his alley. SHOWADDYWADDY finished off well in the same race as Crezee. SHYSTER improved sharply last start. Numbers: 8 – 6 – 11 – 7 Suggested Bet – CREZEE EACHWAY Race 6 NGAWI is a tiny little mare and obviously hard to catch. Fresh last preparation ran a head second when held up behind Excise Free and Cosmic Eyes. Finished third three starts ago behind Classic Pro and Fairview. Back into a C1 here she can break back through. EUROTRIP has bars on and was disappointing fresh. He can improve. CASINO WAR is hard to get past. Genuinely tough on pacer. PUB BRAWL has gone to three 60+ Graduations since breaking maiden status. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – NGAWI WIN Race 7 KEEPER’S TALE has caught the eye at four of her last five starts. Fourth to Tuscan Queen, fourth to Supreme Force, Denim Pack and Nerodio, fourth to Serenity Bay, Nobelium and Media Baron then third to Ay Tee Emm. Reproduces any of those runs and is right in the mix. I AM SPARTACUS is really well placed and after the claim for Kristy Bennett looks hard to run down. OVERTHOUGHT was thrown in the deep end first-up and second-up. This is a drop in grade. FLYING TARGET is a W.Pike horse. Numbers: 10 – 1 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – KEEPER’S TALE EACHWAY Race 8 CUP NIGHT returned to the races in a blaze of glory off the back of a pair of super impressive trials. He was no match for Tellem We’re Comin in the Northam Cup but that was at a mile and at the end of his campaign. He looks to have come back bigger and better and in a crack field you’ll get a decent price to jump on his ever growing bandwagon. FREE TRADE can take up a position and Chris Parnham on is worth lengths. TELLEM WE’RE COMIN is a serious race horse but is set a task first-up from last. DANCE MUSIC is in career best form and has a head start on rivals. Numbers: 3 – 8 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – CUP NIGHT WIN Race 9 SCENIC JOURNEY has been around the mark all throughout her career. Only the 1 win but 6 other minor placings and last start in a particularly fast run 1675 she was getting home well late. Can give the favourite a test. CORNFLOWER has come back a completely different animal since a let up. Can race forward, can race back. She’s going to win a fair few more. BRING EURO is one who could bob up at a price. QUINTARO next best. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 10 – 8 Suggested Bet – SCENIC JOURNEY EACHWAY Race 10 GUNNAGO back into a 60+ really does look excellent placement. Was into the exact same set up of race two starts ago when lumping 62kg and going down by a nose to the in-form Sweet Dreamin’. Last week tried to hold a spot behind a blistering tempo and faded. Backing up off 7 days, dropping in trip and even dropped 2 points last week sees him in a winnable position. I’M PRETTY went very well fresh and draws a better gate. RESISTANCE has form around Flower of War which is obviously strong. KAKADU can box seat and won well last start. Numbers: 2 – 10 – 9 – 6 Suggested Bet – GUNNAGO WIN Quaddie (Race 7 – 10) 1,6,10 1,3,4,8 3,6 2,9,10 Market Market
