Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 6, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 ARAGAIN comes out of the G3 Champion Fillies beaten 5L where she ran an admirable race finishing around My Fair Balentine, Native Chimes Specialism and Is A Bombshell. Should be strong enough form to go close in a moderate maiden. LONSADALE LADY was an impressive trial winner recently on debut at a mile. Is the full brother to Megachino. SATURDAY SUN never gave up the chase last start behind Tradensia. ROYAL CHOISIR needs to improve off the first-up run. Numbers: 4 – 7 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – ARAGAIN WIN Race 2 TOO FAT TOO SLOW has run two grinding second placings since returning to the races. Will pinch one sooner rather than later and the mile looks right up his alley. SPOOKWOOD has ability but is a bit of a handful in the barriers. Gets off them naturally but can run a race. AMAZING LOVE returns to the track fresh and put in a couple of handy runs last campaign. BIZZI TOO ran well last start and the Jo Leeson stable is flying. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 7 – 9 Suggested Bet – TOO FAT TOO SLOW WIN Race 3 SUN POWER ha lead and been run down at his last three but looks to have found his race. Opening day at Pinjarra normally favours those against the fence and that’s where he’ll be. Expecting Brown to try and pinch it on the corner. He is fairly one paced. LIQUIDITY has run some handy late sectionals in a short career and could get under the radar. STABLE GENIUS went close on a number of occasions last preparation and Brett Pope is the King of Pinjarra. LIVING DAYLGIHTS first-up no trial can run a race. Numbers: 6 – 2 – 1 – 8 Suggested Bet – SUN POWER WIN Race 4 RAPID TRANSIT has run four good races in his career to date. Far from disgraced on debut beaten 2L in a strong metro maiden, 3rd to Megachino second-up, beaten 5L in a C1 by Superstorm and then second to Zenaze last start who has gone on to win a Saturday. KITGUM continues to draw bad gates and race without luck. Paul Roberts has his team going well and he is in the mix. PUB BRAWL finished off well last start and can bob up at a price. WICKLOW PRINCESS was a shade disappointing after a strong first-up run. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 13 Suggested Bet – RAPID TRANSIT WIN Race 5 CHATTER SESSION didn’t look at all comfortable in behind horses when dropping back to 1000. Her first-up win was big when leading all the way. Expecting Brad Parnham to come out running underneath Tramika and try to find the top. TRAMIKA is better suited in this C1 than last start in a 3yo 0MW. MEGACHINO is always a winning chance with a clean get away. WAR IS PARADISE improved sharply last start when the shades went on. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – CHATTER SESSION WIN Race 6 ACERMETRIC has been consistent since returning to the races seven starts ago. At his most recent he was left a sitting duck when run down by the swoopers out wide. If Harry Grace can get him across from an awkward alley he’ll be in the finish. IS A BOMBSHELL drops out of the Champion Fillies back into a C1. From the draw she should get every chance. TRADENSIA looks like taking luck out of the equation and was a strong all the way winner last start. ALIMENTARIA put on a staying exhibition at Narrogin when walking in at $1.30. This is tougher. Numbers: 4 – 9 – 10 – 5 Suggested Bet – ACERMETRIC EACHWAY Race 7 CELTIC COURT was scratched a fortnight ago from Northam for ‘future nomination’. This race was clearly in the mind of local trainer Brett Pope and looks a suitable assignment for him. Pike jumps off Burning Pride to pilot and he is a 60+ Graduation winner. BURNING PRIDE was ridden to suit her strengths last start when stalking Vision and Prayer. Races on speed and always hard to toss. ACONITE bypasses the tempting fillies and mares race at Ascot to contest this feature and ran well fresh. ZERO DEMERITS on the fresh side could be forgotten. Numbers: 6 – 10 – 4 – 9 Suggested Bet – CELTIC COURT WIN Race 8 OVER THERE was never going to be that well suited over 1200 first-up but she finished off well enough to suggest that second-up she could play a part in the finish. Drops from a C5 back into a C3 and form the alley should sit midfield and give this a shake. LICKETY SPLIT caught the eye first-up. Will need luck from the gate but has ability. SWIFT MIRAGE put in a few rippers early in the campaign. Shades on and Lucy Warwick on, keep him safe. LIL’ RED BIKINI was big last start after ending up in an impossible position in running. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 8 – 9 Suggested Bet – OVER THERE WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,3,4,6,7 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 4,6,9,10 1,5,8,9,10 Market Market
