They were both on very wet tracks and now she’s lobbed into a country maiden, from a good gate, in a field where the majority want further than 1200m. Gets her chance. GREY REVOLUTION worked hard last start and fought on well behind impressive maiden winner Secret Style. Looks a legitimate danger if getting across. IFFUBLUSH wants further but did beat home She Is God at Northam. HENRY I AM a watch on debut. Numbers: 10 – 7 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – SHE IS GOD WIN RACE 2 BOLTCO JACK ran third behind Classic Ruler first-up at Bunbury in the ‘wrong’ part of the track first-up. Second-up finished fourth behind Rissoles (since Saturday placed), third-up finished fourth in the Famous Dain / Trio race and then was no match for Trio last start (who has since won a C1 impressively). Looks the right form for a Kal maiden. AUBREY’S STAR comes out of the This’ll Show Ya, Allentown, Great Emotion maiden. That is wildly good form and she has only 53.5kg. Just has to run out 1200. DREAM BROOK showed something on debut at Ascot in Feb. PIRATES ALLEY was good last start. Numbers: 2 – 10 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – BOLTCO JACK WIN RACE 3 ZING TO WIN has been a different horse since they put the blinkers on three starts ago. He missed the kick that day and then rattled home and since then he’s put on two galloping exhibitions, including last start when he won by 6.5L. Maps to box seat on Parori and from there is very dangerous. PARORI is a hard mare to run down when she is able to lead and dictate, especially over 1100m and especially when fresh. Comes into this 28 days between runs, 1200 back to 1100m and should have enough toe to cross Born To Talk out of the gates. EEVALINA went around in a 70+ behind Debonnaire last start. Sneaks back in grade nicely. TOTAL LOCKDOWN is going well. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – ZING TO WIN WIN RACE 4 KINGS CALL comes through the Zing To Win race (form on show in Race 3) and he was a really good run into second. Forget the beaten margin (6.5L), if you watch the replay, he was the only horse to make any sort of impression from the back of the field and now he draws to get a much more favourable run in transit. Nice race for him. MORE THAN ENUFF was a big winner at his first start on the Goldfields, however, is now 1760 back to 1400m and drawn wide with 61kg. Set a task. SHEZGOTTHALOT has great C3 form in the metro/provincial area to her name. ELSUENO has had an interrupted prep. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 9 – 5 Suggested Bet – KINGS CALL WIN RACE 5 DEBONNAIRE is on a winning streak in the region and looks a great chance of taking out the 2024 Palace Hotel The Gold Rush. He has progressed from a pair of C2 wins into a 58+ into a 70+ and now into a Gold Rush and he just continues to improve into the campaign. Victoria Corver is riding him with great confidence and he’s flying through the grades rapidly. BAALBEK is a sharp sprinter and if Lucy Fiore finds the front, then it’s very much game on. STARRING KNIGHT brings metro Saturday form and might appreciate a drier track. MUNGO JERRY has been freshened after a disappointing display 6 weeks ago. Prior form was good. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – DEBONNAIRE WIN RACE 6 NO WHISPERING should be able to come across with Khalida and (hopefully) lob a handy position close to the speed. This is a great use of the Chanel Cooper claim and this gelding was annihilated in betting a fortnight ago when plunged into odds on late in the piece. Open race and one of many chances. KHALIDA stamped herself as a mare to follow in the region last start with a dominant 4L all the way win. May need to burn some petrol early to get across here. COCOON BAY was too quick and too tough for them last start. ONEMOREFORLEO has been a model of consistency all campaign but has a big weight and another shocking barrier/map. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 5 – 4 Suggested Bet – NO WHISPERING WIN RACE 7 UNCOMPROMISED put the writing on the wall first-up when charging home into second behind Debonnaire and off the back of that run went around favourite in the Kambalda Cup. Was no match for Abloh on that occasion but there’s no shame in being beaten behind him – he’s a local Hannans Contender. With the rail at the true for the big Tatts Cup meeting he should get conditions that allow him to work into the race from the 600. Ready now. DANCE OF THUNDER went well in the Tatts Cup and finished right on his heels. Senior on a big plus. MANHATTAN STRIP ran well fresh at Northam. HIGH PRESSURE leads comfortably. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – UNCOMPROMISED WIN RACE 8 DUO MUSO won a C2 1200 by 2L two starts back and then contested a 58+ when finishing 2L off No Whispering. Back in grade, off 4 weeks, drawn to get a lovely run midfield and after the Cooper Claim carries the same weight she did to victory two starts ago. Looks excellent placement by MR Peter Fernie. BUSTERS FREE was only 1.5L off Keep Attacking and subsequent metro winners Under Influence and Desert Nymph three starts ago. DON’T WAIT FOR LUCK missed away last start and never looked likely. Forgive. SECRET STYLE was far too quick for maiden opposition. Looks a nice type.
