Scott Embry’s Sunday Kalgoorlie Preview Posted on June 15, 2018June 15, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 ICE ONE ran well first-up this preparation and then has been a badly beaten odds on favorite two starts since. Freshened and with the current King of Kalgoorlie Glenn Smith engaged he could surprise. HILLBERT logically goes round very short but he has had a lot of chances in his career. If he doesn’t win he may find himself residing permanently in Kalgoorlie or Esperance. WOCKNWOLL is another Fernie galloper who has been freshened up since failing to beat a runner home. Previous effort was handy. QUIRKY GIRL makes her Gold Fields debut and has reasonable form around her. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 7 – 6 Suggested Bet – ICE ONE EACHWAY Race 2 ELITE AGENT is yet to fire a solitary shot this preparation but did trial well at Lark Hill before resuming down the tricky Pinjarra straight. Blinkers on and drawn a gate, he could bob up at odds. TAKE THE STAND comes to Kalgoorlie from the powerful Simon Miller stable. Has run favorite in the metro area previously. PREMIO MOMENTO has blinkers added. Yet to really impress since arriving in WA and back in trip a query. ROULETTE SCANDAL is on debut and the Shannon Brown stable can get them going first-up. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – ELITE AGENT PLACE Race 3 REGAL CHANT looked a nice 1400+ type at trials and on debut hit the line hard from a long way back. Wide the trip at her second start and now lobs into a winnable race in Kalgoorlie. PRIZED NEMESIS is likely looking for a new home and it would be no surprise to see him lead them a merry dance if Hill can find the front. LADY HAWKE has showed glimpses in the past and draws a soft gate. LIZZIE has looked mentally and physically drained recently and is better than she’s currently showing. Numbers: 10 – 1 – 8 – 6 Suggested Bet – REGAL CHANT WIN Race 4 MERVYN backs up off 7 days and does his best work when he is allowed to stride out in front at his own pace. He fires off the quick back-up and always paddles late but should swing for home with a handy lead. PYM’S ROYALE is undefeated on the Gold Fields and is more than capable of retaining that claim with Pateman out to regain his lost Kalgoorlie crown. CHANTEGO STAR can fill a drum with the right run. KILLORGLIN normally runs a cheeky race at odds. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – MERVYN WIN SuperPick - Race 4 No. 1 Mervyn - Money Back Race 5 SIRIUS PROSPECT looks to inching closer and closer to a Kalgoorlie win. Should slide forwards and quite possibly lobs outside Wild Fusion, winnable assignment for him. EXPRESS TO FAME has been sneaking in under the radar and running gallant races. Expect the money is about to come thick and fast for him from the premier punting stable in the region. WILD FUSION races prominently and is building into the preparation. VONO will run a race soon and has a soft gate. Numbers: 5 – 8 – 4 – 9 Suggested Bet – SIRIUS PROSPECT EACHWAY Race 6 FOXY ROYALE has been reeling off incredibly strong late sectionals when coming from a mile behind the speedy Mervyn who normally breaks races open. There is nowhere near that level of speed here and he can break through. TEMPLE MAN was well supported late in betting last weekend and never saw day light. Run is far better than reads on paper. NAZARETH has been below par his last few. Could be the improver with a different style of hoop engaged. PEARL OF THE PLAIN looks the leader and won well last start. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – FOXY ROYALE WIN Race 7 IT’S DYNAMITE never really looked comfortable at Belmont when Tranquilla Sunrise split the field open. Back to Kalgoorlie and drawn a gate he appeals as the Get Out. BEVEL has been going well since arriving in the region and will be pinching a race soon. CHHAYA ran out of her skin in the Sky Provincial Final. But losing regular rider Ryan Hill can not be underestimated. CELTIC WIZARD is better is better than what he is showing currently. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 4 – 9 Suggested Bet – IT’S DYNAMITE WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2 2,4,5,8,9 1,2,4,6 1,2,4,6,9,11 Bet Now
