Scott Embry’s Saturday Broome Preview Posted on July 5, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 VISTA VIEW was set alight by Peter Hall at Kalgoorlie last start in a race run in well above average time. That effort in defeat was strong and provided he handles the dirt should go close to leading all the way. JEBEHIAH has put together two encouraging performances this campaign. MAGNIFORCE does a few things wrong but stretched out nicely in a recent Lark Hill trial. SHE’S NO ANGEL will be winning a maiden soon. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – VISTA VIEW WIN Race 2 COLHOUN lead them up and faded late at his Broome debut but also ran into a very nice type. This race is easier and after the 3kg claim is more than capable of lumping the weight to victory. AXEL FOLEY is a beautiful chestnut who should only improve into the preparation. WISE MONKEY has been consistent ever since arriving and now has shades added. FUTURIST talks the speed and should be in the finish. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – COLHOUN WIN Race 3 JELANI EXPRESS clocked some of the best figures of the season last start. Looks like he will continue on his merry way through the grades and this is another stepping stone towards the 70+ races later in the season. DESERT THORN is ultra consistent on the dirt and never runs a bad race. ATACAMA SKY looks set to win another race this preparation. Does it tough ratings wise and 1200m looks on the limit. ZACKARIAH BEAU has been a little disappointing since coming up north this year. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – JELANI EXPRESS WIN Race 4 CORPORATE STRATEGY has run two second placings so far this campaign but this looks the most suitable race yet. 53.5kg after the claim and able to sit close handy to the speed and kick away. MEGAFACTORY beat Corporate Strategy home two starts ago and gets a 2kg weight swing in his favour for beating him. Excellent use of claiming apprentice. AMALIEMOO looks like the dirt is suiting and can win. IHTSAHYMN carries 66kg but interesting to see how he goes. On a Cups Campaign. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – CORPORATE STRATEGY WIN Race 5 FLASH OF THUNDER was beaten almost 3 lengths at his dirt debut but should only improve for the outing. Peter Hall can get him out of the gates and it would be no surprise to see him lead this field. From there he looks hard to roll. BRING ON THE VEUVE comes from similar form lines and looks the logical danger. FRANK’S REWARD is rarely far from the action but lacks a killer blow. PAIR OF FIVZ won well in maiden company last start. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 6 – 2 Suggested Bet – FLASH OF THUNDER WIN Race 6 NEVARDA was no match for Majora’s Mask last start but this race looks easier. Should jump straight to the front and take catching. BIG BLOWS gave Michelle Hagley her first winner as a jockey and trainer and should be winning a couple more this preparation, nice race for him. FLAT BICCY has not really excelled yet on the dirt but is in the mix. STAR OF VEGAS gets back but is building. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – NEVARDA WIN Race 7 TOM ALMIGHTY really doesn’t win out of turn and he is certainly not the most genuine commodity but this race looks absolutely perfect for him. Loves Peter Hall, loves the mile and loves being drawn soft. METALLIC BELLE is a bit of a query out to a mile but leads or box seats and must be respected. PRUE was a run away winner last start and if Casey Hunter finds the top again she could lead them a merry dance. SLICK TALKER has put in three runs which were better than it looks on paper. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – TOM ALMIGHTY WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,4,5 1,3 1,6 1,4,6,8 Market Market
