Scott Embry’s Friday Kalgoorlie Preview Posted on April 8, 2020April 8, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 MISTER KRUMPETS was really let run by Lucy Warwick at Geraldton last start and looked home when the straightened. Got the wobbles late and was run down by over 3L but gets another good opportunity in an equally weak maiden at Kalgoorlie. REDWOOD RANSOM is always there abouts. Expecting him to slide across to sit outside Mister Krumpets. OILSKIN has his first start for Peter Fernie and hit the line hard last time out. EASINGTON next best. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – MISTER KRUMPETS WIN RACE 2 IMPERIALISM has gone under a beaten odds on favourite his last two and looks like going around in the red for a third time. Blinkers go on and he has done nothing wrong at any of his three outings. Deserves to be short but will punters butter up (again)? HENTY LASS has her first start for a new stable and from the gate can settle over the speed. PROMISSION has run well at all three career outings. ELUSIVE INTENT was well thought of on debut and went terribly. Forgive and see how she goes here. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – IMPERIALISM WIN RACE 3 TAJMALI was strongly supported first-up when getting the job done for her loyal followers. She looks capable of continuing on thorugh the grades and 1200 suits her even better than 1100 first-up. KINGS AUTHORITY drops back in grade and gets 4kg off care of the claim of Victoria Corver who looks to have serious ability in the saddle. DIRTY DOT was only nabbed in the shadows of the post first-up before being disqualified with rider weighing in light (no fault of hers). ORACHINO really caught the eye and will be winning races in Kal. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 8 – 7 Suggested Bet – TAJMALI WIN RACE 4 PARADISE SQUARE won well at the opening meeting and even though he goes up 2kg looks to get an identical run in transit and should prove hard to beat again from the gun draw. MY DEMI has returned to racing well and the shades go on for the first-up assignment. EXCARO returns to Kalgoorlie where she impressed last season. BADGE OF COURAGE gets in with a winnable weight after the 4kg claim. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – PARADISE SQUARE WIN RACE 5 DOUBLE THE PRO teased punters last preparation. Some of his efforts in defeat need to be seen to be believed. He came down the middle of the track, he got held up, he missed the kick, Mitchell Pateman thought he was riding Winx; it had it all. Each replay was different and just as impressive. Fast run 1100m race could suit him fresh. SCOTTY TOO HOTTY won well last start and should be able to kick through. MOONLIGHTS REWARD won’t give up the inside easily. Huge second-up winner when first coming to Kalgoorlie. Keep safe. GLIMMER GIRL is suited in this grade. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 5 – 2 Suggested Bet – DOUBLE THE PRO WIN RACE 6 IT’S DYNAMITE comes back in grade after contesting the 70+ race on opening day. Has been awkwardly caught between 58+ and 70+ for a couple of seasons but in the 58+ with Victoria Corver on board gets in with only 1.5kg more than she carried last start. Will be coming home hard late. WAR JEUNE has had a long campaign but continues to race well. DAWN ARMADA ran well first-up. MAGNIFORCE’s bubble burst last start. Disappointing effort, he is better than that. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – IT’S DYNAMITE EACHWAY RACE 7 NORD AVENIR comes from the strongest race on opening day behind subsequent Ascot Saturday winner in Indian Chant. Hit the line hard in that ace and drops from a C2 back into a C1. Not an easy ride for Beaux Edwards from the outside gate but with any luck in running should be in the finish. KNIGHT TEMPEST was a better run first-up than it reads on paper. He has a big turn of foot on his day. WEMBLEY DAYZ was poor first-up. Expecting improvement. NATIVE CHIMES finally broke through last start. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – NORD AVENIR WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2,3,7 3,5,6 1,2,4,5,6,9 2,3,4,7 Market Market RELATED: Scott Embry’s Friday Ascot Preview
