RACE 1 No. 2 Beau Geste

Keen on this one first up a fortnight back when a slight drifter in the market yet still being sent out favourite. He appeared a definite winning chance on the home turn however couldn’t pick up and dash with the first two down the straight. Get the feeling he’ll strip a lot fitter for that outing and return to winning form tomorrow.

RACE 3 No. 2 Don’t Give A Damn

Lightly raced galloper from the Danny Williams yard who just about landed the money for us a fortnight back. Unfortunately he won’t be anywhere near the same odds tomorrow however I’m confident he can go one better. He did a terrific job on debut winning over 1300m at Goulburn (only other start) and from a perfect draw with McEvoy to steer look out!

RACE 5 No. 9 Dawn Wall

Chris Waller trained mare who resumed with a terrific effort at Randwick charging home from the back of the field over 1400m. She rises to 1500m tomorrow and although to be honest I’d like to see her over further I feel at this early stage of her preparation she’s still sharp enough to give her rivals plenty to beat.
