Randwick 13 February – Thoroughbreds Preview Posted on February 12, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.5 Another Cocktail Chris Waller trained import who although not holding the best strike rate does look to be well suited in this race tomorrow. He’s been building up nicely at his 3 starts this time in over 1600m twice and 2000m last start, the step to 2400m tomorrow will be ideal back to a firm surface. Keep in mind his only win came about over the 2400m trip overseas. With James McDonald to pilot he should be breaking through. RACE 3 No.1 Stay With Me Last year’s Thousand Guineas winner who returns from a break tomorrow and does look extremely well placed. She’s had a win and placing from only 2 fresh runs to date and meets clearly inferior opposition, at the set weights scale it’s hard to see her being beaten and at the price on offer looks well over the odds. RACE 8 No.1 Peeping Ron Quinton trained mare who resumes from a break tomorrow and as with Stay With me above does look head and shoulders above her opposition. She’s unbeaten at three previous first up attempts and even off the wide gate can still give these a start and run them down in the straight. She’s better than each-way odds in early markets which looks terrific value Best Bet Race 2 No.5 Another Cocktail Best Value Race 8 No.1 Peeping Quaddie 340% 1, 2, 8 8 1, 2 5, 7 Bet Now!
