He’ll be fitter for the run and is bred to appreciate further ground so expect him to handle the step up to the 490m comfortably here. Race 3 – No. 2 Dandalup Brutus Was dominating his rivals over varying trips at headquarters behind a 2nd in a Puppy Classic heat then a luckless 7th in the final. On debut over this trip but he has the X factor and should be able to bounce back to his best in this. Race 4 – No. 8 Neil Monelli SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Ultra talented chaser with a powerful finish. He’s only missed the placings once in his 12 starts to date and ran a strong 2nd in the Puppy Classic final at his latest outing. Can handle a wide draw and the big class drop will suit. Cannington Saturday 1st April 2017 Race 3 – No. 1 Honcho Monelli SuperPick – Money Back (Run 2nd) Consistent chaser who always gives you a good run for your money. Placed in all of his last 6 starts in FFA company since last winning in February and should be right in the mix again from the favourable draw. Race 4 – No. 4 Who’s Got Class In search of a hat trick after a couple of good wins in FFA company and easier. Has plenty of early pace to handle this awkward draw and he looks set to fight out the finish again. Race 6 – No. 1 France Soir Ran 4th behind Who’s Got Class from this very draw last week when first up from a lengthy spell. He’ll be fitter now and he does do his best racing from the inside boxes. The smaller and easier fields should suit and he is capable of bouncing back into winning form this time around.
