Race 4 – No. 5  Desert Rampage

Returns from headquarters where he raced well without winning over the longer 520m. A 3 time winner over this trip and can handle an awkward draw. Hard to run down.

Race 5 – No. 3  Max Profit

Suffered a rare defeat last week when nabbed late over the 490m. Drops back to a distance where he has only missed the podium twice in 20 tries and looks too slick for these.

Race 7 – No. 1  Sprightly Fella

Talented chaser who has only missed the place once over this trip. Drawn ideally and commands respect.

Winless from this draw but she has won 4 of her past 7 from similar alleys. Capable of running quick times and should make a real fist of this.

Race 5 – No. 2  Quick Jagger

Can be tardy at box rise but that may assist in him getting a dream run early and if the gaps appear at the right time, he will take a power of stopping.

Race 8 – No. 7  Yunderup Kayla

Looks suited here with not much pace drawn either side. She is capable of a good jump and has handled the this box comfortably well in the past.
