Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on April 13, 2018 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 13th April 2018 Race 5 – No. 7 King Cigar Has been jumping well of late over this trip and longer with silver medals behind a few handy ones. Placed in 5 of 6 over this trip and gets his chance to top the podium. Race 6 – No. 3 Hard Wired Unbeaten in 3 runs over the trip including a last start all the way victory in this company last week in quick time. Should prove hard to run down again. Race 12 – No. 1 Spitting Venom SuperPick (Money Back 2nd) Hasn’t been seen in red since running 3rd at Cannington in August last year. Didn’t have much luck last start and is capable of making amends. Cannington Saturday 14th April 2018 Race 4 – No. 1 Fernando Express Thundered home late for 3rd in his first look at the track last week when jumping from the opposite side of the draw. Won’t have to do as much work here and will take plenty of holding out. Race 8 – No. 1 Good Odds Bricky SuperPick (Place Boost) Jumped out of the ground last week with a real eye-catcher, finishing runner up from a similar draw in 29.94. Chance of an upset with a soft run. Race 9 – No. 8 West On Augie Speed machine who is a winner in 13 of his 19 starts. Comes up with the easiest heat and while not drawn ideally, should be able to keep his winning streak alive. Race 10 – No. 2 Demon Bale Drawn nicely in his first run back from a break. He is proven in FFA company and can do the work at both ends. If close enough on the home turn he could prove to be more than a paw-ful.
