Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on February 23, 2018 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 23rd February 2018 Race 2 – No. 2 Up And Above SuperPick (Money Back 2nd) Smart beginner who bumps into a handy type but she does have the advantage of the favourable draw and a vacant box to her inside. If she pinches a break, she is capable of the minor upset. Race 3 – No. 3 Winifred Monelli Didn’t have the best of luck on debut here when 4th in a heat of the Kanyana Cup. The improved draw helps and a forward showing is expected. Race 4 – No. 1 Adele Keeping Not the best of beginners but she has good mid-race pace and is also capable of a strong finish. With the right run she could prove hard to hold out at the finish. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 24th February 2018 Race 2 – No. 4 Arugula Showed improvement second up in WA after gaining a run as a reserve, finishing runner up in similar company last week. The improved draw helps as well and must be given plenty of thought. Race 4 – No. 1 Chezzy Allen Last start all the way 600m winner who also managed to lead all the way in his only run over this trip as well. Has an impressive record from this draw and should handle the class rise. Top chance. Race 9 – No. 2 West On Augie SuperPick (Win Boost) Slightly disappointing last start when a beaten odds on favourite. Prior to that he was an all the way winner of 5 in a row and from the improved draw, it is hard to see him not topping the podium this time.
