Mandurah Friday 6th October 2017

Race 3 – No. 1  Ouchamp

Will find this slightly tougher than recent outings but he has a hat trick beside his name and has the aid of the perfect inside draw. Improving his times each week and looks hard to beat again.

Race 4 – No. 8  Astrozone

Produced the quickest time seen here in a few years when taking out the Mandurah Derby back in April. Led all the way at his latest outing in the Final of the WA Bred Championship at Cannington and looks set to make another feature Final if he takes out this heat tonight.

Race 8 – No. 2  Semikhah    SuperPick (Win Boost)

Consistent chaser who made the final of the Anniversary Cup at Northam before racing prominently throughout for 3rd in FFA company here last week. He has his favourite rug tonight and drops back to mixed 2/3 grade here and is sure to make his presence felt.

Cannington Saturday 7th October 2017

Race 6 – No. 1  Rapid Intention

Won by a lazy 13 lengths on Monday at Northam from this very draw in 29.70, the quickest time run there all day. He’s only won the once here in the past but has confidence on his side now and looks hard to beat again while in form.

Race 8 – No. 4  Newcastle Ranger

Has been dominating his rivals over this trip and shorter both here and at Northam. Produced his best effort yet over this journey on Wednesday when leading most of the way in a smart 21.75 and looks hard to beat once again.

Race 9 – No. 8  Who’s Got Storm    Money Back, Run 2nd

Can be hit and miss at box rise but she races well from this draw and did lead all the way at her latest outing to defeat speed demon Frida Monelli who demolished her rivals on Wednesday by 6 lengths. If she pings, she should be winning this.
