Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on March 19, 2021March 19, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 19th March 2021 Race 4 – No. 6 Speed Force Kicking off the Crudeli-a-thon is a talented chaser who has been mixing form against stronger opposition but drops back to a more suitable grade and has the early toe to overcome the wide draw. Can bounce back. Race 7 – No. 8 Harper’s Hero Powerful finisher who has been racing in fine form over this trip in recent weeks. Gets plenty of room to move out wide and can prove hard to hold out at the business end. Race 9 – No. 4 Fernando Fury Matched motors early with FFA’ers in that company last start but was ultimately outclassed in the end. Better suited to this grade and should figure prominently in the finish this time. Each Way: Race 5 – No. 6 Jaro Bale Backmarker who will be relying on luck but has performed well in tougher line ups than this in the past and a win would not surprise at odds. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.4.6 / 1 / 1.2.8 / 1.2.7 $50 for 138.88% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 20th March 2021 Race 2 – No. 5 Ready For Magic No luck in running from this draw last week when he probably should’ve won, going down by half a length in 30.12. Can prove too strong at the finish if he finds open air. Race 10 – No. 1 Razor’s Edge Mighty impressive when stepping up to this distance on Monday, racing away for a 4 length 34.88 win from the opposite side of the draw. This field has more depth but he looks set to repeat the dose from the improved alley. Race 12 – No. 4 Sudoku Shelby Efforts in easier class have been most impressive, winning 3 of his past 4 in good times. He has also led all the way in each of those 3 wins and he’ll take plenty of stopping if he finds the front again. Each Way: Race 6 – No. 5 Jailbreak Guess No luck late week when finding trouble shortly after making her bid, copping a heavy bump and finishing a well beaten 4th. Has to contend with an awkward draw but if the right gaps appear, she’ll be hard to hold out late. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.3.4.6 / 1.3.5 / 1.2.6 / 2.3.8 $50 for 46.29% Trifecta – Race 4 6 / 1.2.7 / 1.2.3.7.8 $12 for 100% First Four – Race 2 5.8 / 5.8 / 1.2.7 / 1.2.7 $12 for 100% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 21st March 2021 Race 7 – No. 7 Avenger Spolly Eye-catching effort at massive odds of $50 in his WA debut, finishing a narrow 3rd in 23.00. This field is not as tough here. Each Way appeal despite the tricky draw. Race 10 – No. 7 Nice image Mixing form of late but he has been bumping into some stiff opposition of late and will find this more to his liking. Freshened up and can turn his fortunes around with a swift exit at box rise. Race 12 – No. 7 Hazy Flash A beaten odds-on favourite last time out but he did have excuses when slowly away and also receiving interference in running, losing plenty of momentum in the process. Finished off strongly for 3rd and would’ve gone mighty close to winning. Can make amends if he keeps to himself. Bet Now! Bet Now!
