Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on February 26, 2021February 26, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 26th February 2021 Race 2 – No. 1 Submariner Saluted for the first time in 3 months when leading all the way for a slick 22.76 victory in this company last week. Drawn superbly in red and can go on with the job now. Race 3 – No. 1 Jaro Bale found improvement second up when overcoming early bother to finish on the podium from a similar draw. Race 9 – No. 3 Aston Peroni Has been costly to follow since arriving in WA, placing just the once from five efforts so far. Had excuses a his most recent outing before a break and can give this a real shake while fresh. Each Way: Race 10 – No. 5 Weblec Smoke Former Victorian who is better suited over longer but he has raced and performed well against some top class chasers in the past and should acquit himself well against this line up. Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 27th February 2021 Race 2 – No. 8 Our Seabrook A multiple sub 30 second winner over the trip, albeit in easier company. No luck last time in the Puppy Classic Final bur can make amends in this if she stays out of harms way. Race 6 – No. 1 Rambo’s Boy Has been finishing with big bounds over the trip of late, all from the extreme outside draw. Runner up in his only two outings in red, both in sub 30 seconds. Can finally go one better this time. Race 10 – No.5 Santa’s Magic Demolished an easier line up by 6 lengths at his first crack over the middle distance, posting a smart 34.76 in the process. Modest beginners either side helps his cause. Can go back to back. Each Way: Race 7 – No. 2 Mongolian Wolf Gave plenty of cheek at big odds last week when making his 600m debut. This is a lot tougher but will have benefited from the outing and can surprise with luck on his side.
