Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on April 21, 2017May 11, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 21st April 2017 Race 4 – No. 6 Yunderup Dozer Smart chaser who will appreciate the small line up tonight. He was back to his best over the longer 600m at Cannington last week when leading most of the way. A winner of 22 races so far with 15 over this very distance and 3 of those from this draw. He is definitely worth following whilst in winning form. Race 7 – No. 1 Astrozone Didn’t disgrace himself during his trip to Sydney for the recent Golden Easter Egg series at Wentworth Park. He returns to WA tonight and finds himself in a handy line up but he is unbeaten in red and while on debut at the track, he has qualified in a slick 27.55 here in the past. He should prove hard to beat from this draw. Race 9 – No. 2 Max Profit SuperPick Money Back, Run 2nd. Slick beginner who led all the way in his only start over the trip in 27.72 from a similar draw. He has been in strong form since and while this is a tough field, he may take plenty of catching if some of his well-fancied rivals find bother from worse draws than his. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 22nd April 2017 Race 3 – No. 1 Senator Monelli SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Powerful chaser who was doing his best work late when resuming last week, finishing 2nd in 30.41. He has gone quicker in the past and absolutely loves this draw so expect him to take some serious holding out at the finish in this line up. Race 4 – No. 1 Penny Monelli Returns from a trip to Sydney where she won her last couple straight in strong times. She is another who loves this draw and she does also have a brilliant record over this distance. Capable of making it a hat trick in her homecoming. Race 8 – No. 2 Shell Shocked Has been finding plenty of bother in his races of late but he should appreciate his best draw for a while. He has defeated tougher line ups than this in the past and is capable of bouncing back to winning form with luck on his side this time.
