Race 4 – No. 8  Paul’s Rocket

Broke through for MDN success when leading all the way in slick time last start, albeit from a more favourable draw. A similar jump should see him prove hard to run down again.

Race 9 – No. 8  Westdale Ares

Has finished no further back than 2nd in 3 runs from this draw. Not the strongest of FFA line ups and will appreciate the small line up.

Race 11 – No. 6  Cocoon

Impressed at his local debut when lunging late for success over 380m at Cannington. Will appreciate the extra 25m and looks set to remain unbeaten in WA.

Race 5 – No. 7  Brookton Bomber

Racing with a wing on every paw with 5 wins from his last 7, all in impressive times. Prefers it closer to the rail but is worth an Each Way ticket in his current form.

Was strong when winning from a similar draw last week in a PB of 29.99. Can be risky early but if left alone, he can go on with the job now.

Race 3 – No. 2  Flake Monelli

Talented chaser who has an all important gear change for her first run back from an injury enforced spell with the blinkers going on. Drawn nicely and is surrounded by modest beginners. Can go all the way.

Race 9 – No. 5  Hastie Guess

Consistent chaser who was game in defeat behind the talented Who’s Got Cash last week when prominent throughout in solid time. Will find this a bit easier and must be respected.

Each Way:

Race 5 – No. 2  Bee Dee

Racing well without winning with a hat trick of seconds beside his name over this trip and in this company. The improved draw should see him find a spot where he can do his best work late again.
