Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on February 17, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 17th February 2017 Race 4 – No. 3 Phaser Bale Swift beginner who defeated Thunder Rama by over 3 lengths in this company when leading all the way 3 starts ago. Has had excuses in tougher at headquarters recently so it might pay to forgive him here. Race 8 – No. 3 Cairnlea Deano — SuperPick Profit Plus 25% (Win) On debut at the track but he has his favourite draw and is back in winning form now. Has plenty of early pace to use this draw to his advantage and he will be strong at the finish as well. Race 10 – No. 3 My Name’s Emma Up in grade but she posted back to back victories in quick time over this trip in late January, leading all the way in both. Drawn nicely and is sure to take plenty of catching. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 18th February 2017 Race 2 – No. 1 Colloquial — SuperPick Profit Plus 25% (Place) Can be hit and miss at box rise but he has been racing well without winning over this trip in recent weeks behind some very handy types. Nice effort last week from this draw when overcoming poor start to sit on the heels of early leaders before finishing 3rd behind Kid Kansas. If he stays out of early trouble and finds a nice possie down the back, he is capable of causing an upset. Solid Each Way chance. Race 4 – No. 4 Fun Boss He hasn’t won for a while but he has had a few excuses. He can begin like a rocket on his night and will find this easier than recent runs which include back to back 3rds with his first in a Perth Cup heat behind Astrozone and in the Consolation behind Victorian Fanta Bale. Worth giving him one more chance to find his best. Race 11 – No. 8 Crocodile Daisy Looked at thought she was going to crack it for her Maiden victory on Tuesday when leading everywhere but the post, going down by a neck in a handy 22.92. The shorter trip will suit and she gets her chance to make amends tonight. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 5 , 7, 8 / 1, 2, 7 / 1, 3, 4. $50 for 22.22% TRIFECTA — Race 3 1, 3 / 1, 3 / 4, 5, 6, 8. $30 for 375% FIRST FOUR — Race 5 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 4, 6, 8/ 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8. $50 for 27.77% Bet Now!
