Michael Heaton’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on June 3, 2026June 3, 2026 | Posted by Michael Heaton RACE 1 GLORANARDO still looks green and raw but his recent trial win looked effortless and he was solid in his first race preparation last campaign. This is an easier race than the Hubble’s Dragon/Barney Rommel and Desert Waves/Can’t Catch Me races he contested last prep. MARKET SNITZ debuts off the back of only one public appearance when saving ground in his recent trial and winning under a hold. He’s a beautifully-bred colt who appears to looks set to produce a big showing first up. YOUANMI trialled alongside him, showed enough last prep and looks the map horse. GETS THE GIRLS will be doing his best work late. Numbers: 3-6-5-1 Suggested Bet – GLORANARDO EACH-WAY RACE 2 SASSY SNIPPET looks a filly who could jump very short in this. On debut she was beaten less than 2L to Quokka Rocka, Xentaro (subsequent Saturday winner) and Jimmy Angel (subsequent winner) before getting momentarily held up on straightening at her next start and jumping out of the ground late to miss by a head. Now an extra 200m, favourable map and Pike sticks. Hard to beat. LEG GODT had no luck on debut when posted deep in a fast-run 1000m scamper and then was solid second-up. She can roll forward here and ride the speed. TASMAN JEWEL is back in distance but should take up a prominent position in a race without much natural speed. GOLD AND GREY an improver up to 1400m. Numbers: 12-14-10-15 Suggested Bet – SASSY SNIPPET WIN RACE 3 ROYAL TALK looks ready to break through. She’s placed at her past 3 starts, now strikes a thinner race off an 8-day turnaround and has the speed to roll forward and overcome her sticky gate. LORD MOMO appeared to have found his race at Bunbury last Sunday before the meeting was abandoned. He’s also ready to win but he has a really awkward map to overcome now. BHULLAR hasn’t been seen for 8 weeks but ran second at 2 of his past 3 starts. OFFENBACH likely rolls forward but looks a question mark at 1500m? Numbers: 9-2-8-1 Suggested Bet – ROYAL TALK WIN RACE 4 SAVVY RULER has run all the fastest closing sectionals at her first 2 starts back and looks suited up to 1800m with blinkers going on. She made big late ground last start and the only 2 horses to come out of that race and race again so far (Special Counsel and Sister Mary) both won. MISS SANTA CORRS hit the line deadlocked with Savvy Ruler last start and has been building to a long-awaited win all preparation. BEND IT LIKE BECKS has been good at both starts back and now steps to 1800m off 8 days. BARRAQUITO did a lot of work first up and got blown up on the hot speed but trialled nicely leading into it and could be an improver second-up with a soft run. Numbers: 9-8-4-12 Suggested Bet – SAVVY RULER WIN RACE 5 ZERO TO SIXTY tracked the hot speed set by the leader and eventual winner (Uxorious) first up and stuck on quite well on review. This maiden is significantly weaker than that field, he now has the benefit of a run under his belt and he should land in a prominent position. RADIANT LIGHT finished alongside Zero To Sixty first up and had placed at 5 of her previous 8 starts. He can kick through to lead. LADY MONEY TALK contested stronger races last campaign and was solid first up on a soft-7 track at Albany. PERFECTLY PROPER is racing like she wants 1400m now. Numbers: 5-1-11-10 Suggested Bet – ZERO TO SIXTY WIN RACE 6 SPIRITED STRIKE has to lump a full 61kg but he chased home progressive filly A Summer Fling (who heads to Saturday’s Raconteur Stakes) in this grade last start and that looks a good form reference for this level of opposition. MORF had no luck first up when posted 3-deep but looks the likely leader year and he showed enough last campaign. TORONADO ROCKET is now more than 5 weeks between runs which isn’t ideal but he should get a gun run for the in-form Chris Parnham. AWESOME FORCE is a nice type resuming but 1200m is likely a bit sharp for him? Numbers: 1-5-6-3 Suggested Bet – SPIRITED STRIKE WIN RACE 7 ROCK THE MARKET went to the paddock in good form having knocked off Poblano (who won her next 2) then finishing third to Magic Sequence (who won 3 of her next 4) and Urquharts Bluff (who won his next 2). She was a sharp improver in her recent second trial (despite running last on paper) when locked up and never let off the bridle and she gets Pike. MAMA SAYS SO has been going well all campaign but has a sticky map to navigate here. SAIGON DANCER interestingly drops back to 1200m after winning well first up at 1300m and being a bit stiff when getting held up second-up over 1400m. WHERE’S BRITTANY hit the line strongly at her WA debut when finishing third to smart filly A Summer Fling. Numbers: 5-4-1-13 Suggested Bet – ROCK THE MARKET WIN RACE 8 STRAPPING PROPHET has been sectionally very strong at his first 2 starts back and last time out he chased home the talented Herault who was enormous in Saturday grade at his following start. He’s missed the money only once from 9 starts and looks suited by the rise in distance and sting out of the ground. ARTISTRY IN MOTION is still doing a bit wrong and seems to be going a length below his best so far this prep but this’ll be the first time he’s seen a wet track since his dominant 5L maiden win and then his runner-up finish to Rock Fest on a Saturday. SHAULA looks better suited back to 1700m and his previous 3 efforts in Saturday grade are all good enough to measure up here. EXQUISITE TASTE maps favourably and will appreciate the rise in trip third-up as well as a softer track which is where he’s produced his best form. Numbers: 3-1-9-2 Suggested Bet – STRAPPING PROPHET WIN RACE 9 LINCHPIN is nicely placed dropping out of Saturday grade behind the Raconteur Stakes-bound Ladies Pro back into a C5. He let down with a powerful finish to win at his previous start, held his own in feature race company during the late summer and early autumn and looks a 3YO with upside. POND MASTER drops back to the more suitable 1400m and has raced exclusively in Saturday grade at his past 14 starts. Well placed as a multiple Saturday winner with 59kg after the claim. MISS ESPRIT has drawn awkwardly but is going well and will appreciate the sting out of the ground. OUR MATE ARCHIE will get back and launch late for Pike. Numbers: 6-1-7-2 Suggested Bet – LINCHPIN WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,3,5,6 1,4,5 1,2,3,4,9 1,6,7,2 Market Market
