Matt Young’s Tuesday Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 3, 2025June 3, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 SHEHADI (2) has the good draw and she’s now back into some decent form, can be driven on the speed here and looks hard to beat. LUKES MISTAKE (8) has been driven positively in recent runs and has been sticking on strongly, will likely have to be driven in a similar manner again. ZUEDE (9) is crying out for some luck, will be storming home but needs some tempo. IDEALINCIDER (11) is racing well and likely finishing off strongly with DOCTOR STEVE (10) who drops in grade from a metro stand on Friday night. Tips: 2 9 8 11 Suggested Bet: SHEHADI (2) to win. Race 2 MYSTA MOON WALKER (6) can be driven in a forward position here, he has been racing against stronger fields and can try and keep that advantage. INTO THE FUTURE (7) will likely head forward as well, major player if he could cross to the top. Tempo could suit BY ROYAL COMMAND (12) who is an incredibly consistent fellow. POPPYS LAST DANCE (3) is improving and hit the line well last time out, novelty chance. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (4) is racing well without much luck; she is a winning chance. STAY SOBER (5) has good early speed and could be a place chance on return if he can cross. UP AND ALIVE (8) is capable but needs luck from the draw. Tips: 6 12 7 4 Suggested Bet: BY ROYAL COMMAND (12) each way. Race 3 SONIC SEELSTER (2) has good early speed and looks likely to bounce to the top here and could give a bold sight, has just gone off in recent runs so is looking to bounce back. ROAD CLOSURE (8) hasn’t had much luck since resuming but is racing well, looks a major player. BIG BOZZ (11) is suited in this grade and drawn to watch things unfold early, can settle close to them and even a chance to lead. SHES A MARE (12) will also get a good run through and has good closing speed. VINTAGE BLU (7) is a capable type in this grade and TRITTRITTBANGBANG (10) is improving but is following out a steady beginner. Tips: 8 11 2 12 Suggested Bet: ROAD CLOSURE (8) each way. Race 4 MAJOR JAY (8) caught the eye last run and looks like he’s getting back to some of his better form, encouraging and looks hard to hold out. KURIOUS BOY (4) is ready to win, he is holding good consistency without much luck. FRANKIE J HOLDEN (10) is better suited when able to be on speed, can watch things unfold and make his move but was a nice winner off a freshen up. ELWADDELL (6) performed well last run and there was plenty of money around for him, keep him safe here. PRIDDAH (2) is a novelty chance with FRANCO MECCA (7). Tips: 8 4 10 6 Suggested Bet: MAJOR JAY (8) to win. Race 5 LUKE ATTACK (11) has lifted in recent runs, and this looks the right grade to suit him, he doesn’t win out of turn but appears hard to beat. SOMETHING CERTAIN (8) trialled up well and looks to have talent, will run well on debut. DON’T GOIN THEWATER (2) have early speed and can run into the novelties, has winning claims. MORE THAN HONOURED (1) is a novelty player, has options from the draw. JUST ALL STYLE (3) going better than numerical form suggests. SWEETDREAM TRUNKEY (4) is racing well but this is a rise in grade. GALVINSTON JOHN (7) can mix his form but has an abundance of early speed and is a winning chance if he could cross. Tricky little race. Tips: 11 8 2 1 Suggested Bet: LUKE ATTACK (11) each way. Race 6 MACH FREEWAY (7) looks an improver on return, has raced some nice horses and trial was sound, bumps into a winnable field and looks very hard to hold out on return, race fitness is a major query. AIR MARSHAL (3) has shown ability and comes in with claims here with that draw advantage. CARA DIANA (5) has lifted recently but prefer her on the peg line and attacking from there. LOVE OF MINE (2) could improve off recent trials and place chances to GRACES STAR (4) and TWOHEARTONEDIAMOND (6). Tips: 7 3 5 4 Suggested Bet: MACH FREEWAY (7) to win. Race 7 YANKEE LOVER (5) was solid in defeat last time out, looks to be a nice trotter and this is a suitable assignment, hard to beat. MRIYA DREAM (3) can mix his form but if he can trot well to lead this, he will give them something to catch. LOTS OF CHANGE (4) is hard to get a gauge on at this stage but won’t be far away on what we have seen in the west. SELLUNE (6) suited at the mobile and this grade, not at his best but can run into the money. KYVALLEY PAINT (7) is improving and a novelty chance with the hard to catch GRAND MAJESTIC BELLS (8). Tips: 5 3 4 6 Suggested Bet: YANKEE LOVER (5) to win. Race 8 SHOO BOOZY (3) has had one trial and the performance was strong, with a break and coming in with no trial shows confidence from Aiden De Campo and think he’s a reasonable type, go close. MAAS ATTACK (1) has the nice draw and trialled up well, expecting a bold run and the stablemate has good talent in STAYCATION (7) but did things wrong on debut. CHRYSOSTOM (4) will find this easier and has mixed her form so far, expecting an improvement in this. MISS LEOPATRA (2) a novelty chance from the draw and STRANIERO DEL MARE (5) has shown enough in trials to get into the money. Tips: 3 1 4 7 Suggested Bet: SHOO BOOZY (3) to win. Market Market
