Matt Young’s Tuesday Bunbury Preview Posted on December 8, 2025December 8, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 BOUJEE BOY (4) is racing in great form and has been showing his versatility, expecting him to run a big race here. YAWOMA (8) won’t be far away, he can watch things unfold but has been conquered by BOUJEE BOY (4) in his last two runs. ELITE FLEET (7) comes in fresh but was racing some of the better types and this looks suitable. THE BETTOR SIDE (3) is a consistent type but overall, this field looks a bit more challenging than what he has taken on since returning. Awkward draws for INTO THE FUTURE (5) and BY ROYAL COMMAND (6) who both have been racing well. Tips: 4 7 8 3 Suggested Bet: BOUJEE BOY (4) to win. Race 2 SOMETHING CERTAIN (10) is a hard horse to catch, his best would win this race but every now and then he will throw in a stinker, that was last run and can’t really understand why on face value, his overall ability is perfectly suited here and expect him to go close. ELIZABETH AITCH (7) has the talent but doesn’t always run to the best of her ability, has been consistent in recent runs and looks a strong chance. ELLEOFAREACTOR (4) has raced well recently, and they will likely roll the dice and head forward and hope for a softer lead time. DAWSON SHARD (11) is capable but just needs to score up. I AM SIAM (6) racing well but tough draw. Tips: 10 7 4 11 Suggested Bet: SOMETHING CERTAIN (10) to win. Race 3 SWEET SASSYMOLASSY (3) looks a strong chance to find the top in this and could give them something to catch, expecting a strong run. SONIC SEELSTER (2) should lead early and look for cover, and the sprint lane will beckon. HURRICANEHOPE (11) is first up for the new stable and faces a difficult task from the draw. THEYCALL ME STOOGE (5) is suited in this grade but needs to find a position as he is better saved up for one run. HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (6) has been a touch disappointing in his last run and did it too tough two starts ago, can bounce back. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (7) capable but the draw hurts. THERE AND THEN (8) a place chance from the draw and FOLLOW MY STRIDE (4) a novelty chance. Tips: 3 2 11 5 Suggested Bet: SWEET SASSYMOLASSY (3) to win. Race 4 BOY BLUE (9) looks well placed here against a decent field, but he still appears to be dropping in class and should be able to get the job done here. BEAT THE BANK (10) will follow and sprint home strongly and looks a solid top 2 player in this. MIKI WINDERMERE (7) was solid in his most recent performance and could push forward and do the work. VINITA ROSE (8) has come back well and if the gaps open, she can feature into the money. SWIZZLESTICK (6) should be kept safe on return and STRAUNY (2) is coming in fresh but likes to race on speed. Tips: 9 10 8 7 Suggested Bet: BOY BLUE (9) to win. Race 5 Open race. BETTOR MOVE ALONG (6) hit the line better last time out and has a few options, with the small field I think either way he will run a good race. RAJAH ROCKS (3) returns and has the speed to lead, will give a bold sight. BEACH CAPTAIN (4) likely driven forward and can stick on, didn’t have much luck last time out. MYDADTHETERROR (8) is racing well without much luck, can be driven to what is happening ahead of him and expect him to be hitting the line well. WELEASE WODDEWICK (7) was disappointing last run, draw hurts but first up was solid so he is hard to get a gauge on right now. Tips: 6 3 8 4 Suggested Bet: BETTOR MOVE ALONG (6) each way. Race 6 CURADH (8) had the race run to suit last time out but couldn’t get over the top of BROOKVALEGIRL (4) who is in this race, but I think the race could favour CURADH (8) even more so tonight and the tables can be turned. BROOKVALEGIRL (4) has a more challenging draw with speed underneath, she has come back well though. ALTA KING (7) is a work horse and this grade suits, won’t be too far away. HEARTOFAHLIA (5) is suited with the small field and is racing well for Brett Smith. THE SWINDLER (1) is a hard horse to catch and lacks early speed. HEZ SPECIAL (2) is speedy and could hold the key to the race as he looks the early leader. Tips: 8 7 4 5 Suggested Bet: CURADH (8) to win. Race 7 THIS TIME JACKO (2) trialled well chasing some decent horses in decent times in recent weeks, has the nice draw and based off his trials, he will be the one to beat. GO HOME JO (7) was held up at a vital point last time out but rocketed late, race was run to suit, and she needs a bit of tempo on to suit her style. ZUEDE (8) is suited in this grade but as always, he needs luck. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (6) didn’t have much luck last time out, could be included in your novelties with IDEAL WHITBY (10). Tips: 2 8 7 6 Suggested Bet: THIS TIME JACKO (2) to win. Race 8 LEEROY ROX (7) is a horse who I liked as a two-year-old and has had a long time away from the races, whatever he does he will improve on but I think he can make it a winning return, very hard to beat. BOOM IT UP (6) didn’t have the best of luck last time out and this grade suits, not the nicest going horse to watch but has some high speed. NIFE TOA GUNFIGHT (9) has shown promise and should be respected on return from the draw. THUNDER WARRIOR (5) was solid three starts ago but hasn’t done much since, could improve at value. ALLIZEE (2) lacks early pace but her last three have been better. MACHTAYLOR (8) didn’t have much luck last run but overall times weren’t that strong and ALWAYS SEA MIKI (10) has shown promise and could be running on well on return. Tips: 7 9 6 5 Suggested Bet: LEEROY ROX (7) to win. Market Market
