Race 1

SHOOBETCHA (6) flew off the arm and led last start and stretched the neck of Texas Storm, looks a chance to cross and will run a big race in this. BOUGIE (3) will have a lot of market support but has been mixing the form since returning, will be in the mix and looks dangerous. NELLYS WORLD (2) and SHERICKA (4) look to improve further with more fitness added. MISS TRIBECA (8) is a novelty chance from the draw but needs some luck and depth seems to drop off after that.

Suggested Bet: SHOOBETCHA (6) to win.

Race 2

IDEAL AN ACE (4) was well backed on debut and wasn’t disgraced and then didn’t have the best luck in the sales classic, looks suited here and expecting a bold performance. PARAGLIDER (7) hit the line strongly last time out and is showing good ability this preparation, tough draw to overcome but expecting him to look dangerous at some stage. ZILLIONAIRE (2) creates interest for Team Bond drawn in a good position. ROCKNROLL LIBERTY (1) was a nice effort last time out and has the draw to be in the mix. BEAU TOULOUSE (11) looks to have ability and trialled well also, respect. Competitive race.

Suggested Bet: IDEAL AN ACE (4) to win.

Race 3

RUIA (12) will be much better for the first up effort and strikes a winnable race; she has plenty of high speed and looks hard to beat in this. ULTIMATE ZIPPER (4) steps up in grade but won well and looks a progressive type, each way in this. ARISE LAZARUS (9) has come back well but isn’t one to do his own dirty work, will be running on. MADAM TIGER (3) could be improved and included as a novelty chance with POPPYS LAST DANCE (1) and SHESA ENCHANTRESS (10).

Suggested Bet: RUIA (12) to win.

Race 4

HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (10) is knocking on the door and looks suited in this grade, a slight concern with the horse he’s following out can do things wrong but think he’s a major player in this. JACK MANNIX (3) can do things wrong but overall is ready to run a big race, just needs to keep his head on early. CHALKY WHITE (6) can roll forward and get a good run and be close enough to them with KOPPER KOTE (7) likely to end up in the breeze. ALTAIR STAR (1) is a top 4 player from the good draw with SPEED FORCE (11) and MAJOR DALTON (12) who have tough draws.

Suggested Bet: HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (10) to win.

Race 5

Open race found this one very difficult. DISAPTCHER (1) has the speed to lead early but usually likes some cover and that could come from SHES ALL GO (2) who is racing soundly when on speed and could give them something to catch. JUST A PET (3) and FOLLOW MY STRIDE (4) both winning chances if they could cross. SUPREMEDREAM (8) will get a soft run and will be the hunter tonight, could surprise. REDDY TO FLY (12) is ready to win but needs some luck from the draw. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (7) is dominating the lightning laps and steps up to the middle distance where he isn’t as potent. MONEY WELL SPENT (11) a chance.

Suggested Bet: REDDY TO FLY (12) each way.

Race 6

POPPYONTHEBEACH (2) returns from the perfect draw and looks the leader in the race and appears hard to beat, she is a nice type and will be hard to get past. CAPTAINS CREEK (7) improved noticeably last time in and must be respected but comes in fresh from the tough draw. MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (4) has talent and fitness on his side, expecting him to run well and could be aggressive early. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (1) is a place chance, has put up two good runs for the new stable and comes in with novelty claims with LADY CAMEL (8), TA IN ADVANCE (11) and ARIONROCK (12).

Suggested Bet: POPPYONTHEBEACH (2) to win.

Race 7

HONOUR THE EAGLE (3) is a chance to burn across and lead this event and be hard to catch, she was a big winner at Bridgetown when leading and this isn’t a deep race. AKABAH (5) hit the line well last time out and can mix his form but overall, the ability is there. ARUM (11) is racing against stronger but just needs a cart up, will be getting home well. I SEE FIRE (1) is ready to win but his early speed and demeanour aren’t that encouraging from the good draw. SWITCH BLADE (6) is consistent and likely to look for a breeze position. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (10) always a novelty chance.

Tips: 3 11 6 5

Suggested Bet: HONOUR THE EAGLE (3) each way.

Race 8

STARRY HEIGHTS (3) reads up for a race of this nature on debut but looks to be an improver with more experience and fitness, can still win on debut. AZIONE (4) on the quick backup and lacks a bit of enthusiasm but looks a suitable grade to race on speed. CHEVRONS GOLD (1) could be prominent in the early stages and the distance will suit. LIL MISS DELIGHT (8) is drawn to get a soft run, sound on debut. PAPPINBARRA LADY (5), DOCTOR ROCK (6) and ALTA GABBANA (2) are much of a muchness and could win with an element of luck.
