Race 1

Some returning form lines here. JIMMYS RAINBOW (2) wasn’t a bad debut behind a nice type in George Myboy and has the nice draw on return, expecting a strong showing and has high speed. BEAU PARA (1) nicely drawn and has options, has shown promise in his only race preparation. ARVANNAS WISH (3) has shown some talent, little bit tricky from the draw but looks a lively chance. ULTIMATE SHOT (10) trialled well and looks to be a further improver off the trials and should close off strongly with SPYCHIEF (11) who has ability, trialled up soundly. EDGE ELEVEN (4) has fitness on side but faces a tricky draw with ASTERI ADELPHOS (5).

Suggested Bet: ULTIMATE SHOT (10) each way.

Race 2

GRAND MAJESTIC BELLS (8) is a capable type who must overcome a tricky handicap, she has depth in this grade and will look dangerous at some stage. ARISTOTLE (5) is returning but has proven he is right up to this grade, go well. LOTS OF CHANGE (6) just needs a safe getaway but has been racing some nice types. ELISH STAR (2) and TILTHESUNSETS (3) novelty chances with THE BEAT (1) who has had two runs for the stable and galloped both times and is a horse who has galloped in his races more often than not.

Suggested Bet: GRAND MAJESTIC BELLS (8) to win.

Race 3

BUMRAH (6) trialled up brilliantly for this behind Ima Booty Shaker in good time and this looks to have the toughness to get the job done on debut, very keen on his chances. TRICKY TEXAS (4) has shown good promise and looks a solid chance with the draw advantage over his main rival. PARAGLIDER (1) has got the nice draw but has had ample opportunity to break through, more a place chance in this. HIGH TIMES (8) was a solid effort on debut and will be running on strongly, should break through soon and WESTBURN ROCKSTAR (7) is a place chance but has had a few chances to break through since returning.

Suggested Bet: BUMRAH (6) to win.

Race 4

DEVIL IN DISGUISE (9) trialled up in fantastic fashion and has had a few more weeks to build more fitness, looks set to dominate on return even from the wide gate. ROMAN GUARD (4) showed promise early days and then just went off the boil a touch late, has had a break and can feature in the money here. UNKNOWN (1) ideally drawn and is a place chance but is a one paced type who lacks high speed. MAKIN DUST (8) is a place chance, will get a soft run from the draw.

Tips: 9 4 1 8

Suggested Bet: DEVIL IN DISGUISE/ROMAN GUARD to Exacta.

Race 5

HE IS TALKING (3) was fantastic on his return with a 2nd behind Ideal Diamond, did all the work in the final lap and only went down narrowly, looks hard to hold out here and should bounce off that last run well. A PRECIOUS GEM (2) looks to have plenty of talent, nicely drawn and might be driven to hold the advantage, good test for her. LINCOLN LOVER (8) faces a difficult draw but has ability, looks to have strings to his bow which will be required from the draw. MY MACHANE (7) will be running on and looks more of a novelty chance with the returning SWEET WISH (4).

Tips: 3 2 8 7

Suggested Bet: HE IS TALKING (3) to win.

Race 6

SNAKEY BAY (1) can run a solid lightning lap and has the draw and speed to lead this, looks hard to catch out in front here. FLOAT MY BOAT (6) won well last time out and will have to do the work in the run again but is suited in this grade. DAMAGE DONE (3), BALTIC ACE (4), HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (7) and BE HOME SOON (9) all going well enough to fill the novelties but needs their share of luck and MANGO TANGO (8) can be thrown in but just needs to hold his position early.

Suggested Bet: SNAKEY BAY (1) to win.

Race 7

Open race. OAKLEY (8) was beaten on his merits first up in WA and faces a tricky draw, looked a bit one paced so interesting to see how he goes in this. BETTOR WASH UP (6) is a quick beginner who is still learning the caper but could be further improved in this. SPORTING GRACE (2) is a capable type with early speed but seems to race better at shorter trips and JOEY JAMES (4) is in the same boat as a rule but he is versatile and his high speed could come into play late. SUNSHINE SWIFT (5) best is good enough in this grade. SHECANPLAY (9) will be running on and has a solid draw. MY LITTLE BIG MAN (7) not quite at his best but can improve.

Tips: 8 6 4 5

Suggested Bet: BETTOR WASH UP (6) each way.

Race 8

CALL TO ARMS (3) last win was in a similar race to this where he bounced on the lead and ran them along, no reason he can’t return to that line of form, and this looks suitable. TWOBOB CRACKER (8) is suited in this grade and a good beginner, will be dangerous with BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (10) who was a big effort last start after a steady getaway. JAMIE KIM (1) won a metro race in 2.01.0 on Friday night, novelty chance here. TOMMY PRICE (7) is a must for novelties; he will be driven cold and get home well with BEAT THE BANK (9) who has the depth to overcome the handicap and earn.

Suggested Bet: CALL TO ARMS (3) to win.

Race 9

Number of chances in this. JINGLING JEWELS (1) was a good effort Friday after burning to lead, has options from the draw and should be no further back than leaders back. HALFMOONBAY (3) is racing well, still developing and comes in with some claims but at this stage still happy with him at a shorter trip. SWIZZLESTICK (6) is ready to win, has put together some nice runs and this grade suits but is normally saved for his finishing run. UNDER THE ALTA (7) is likely the work horse in the race and should run well here. AKOYA PEARL (5) did things wrong first up and the trial was just, wait until she finds form but has talent to improve. SWITCH BLADE (9) and BETTOR MOVE ALONG (10) both novelty chances.
