Race 1

MYSTERY FRED (8) should be winning by a margin here; he is the far superior trotter and should work through his grades nicely with another win here. LOTS OF CHANGE (6) looks the logical and only real danger, has been racing consistently and should be in the money. BEE BEE BEROC (3) could be cheeky if he could step safely and work to the lead and the distance suits to run in the money. TILTHESUNSETS (2) is a novelty chance with SUGA DADDY (4).

Suggested Bet: BEE BEE BEROC (3) to place.

Race 2

ROCKABILLY JOE (1) trialled nicely last time in and makes his debut for Dylan Egerton-Green from the perfect draw, looks a nice rolling type and will be hard to run down. EXPRESSING (8) is knocking loudly on the door and looks the main danger and will get the dream run. THE BELL HUEY (7) trialled up well and faces a difficult draw, will be running on. WILD THYME (2), RACKETEERS DREAM (3) and LIGHTONTHEHILL (5) all novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: ROCKABILLY JOE/EXPRESSING to Quinella.

Race 3

Open race. TORREVEAN ENVY ME (7) is third up into the preparation and looks a strong chance even from the draw, likely to get back and run on well. GYPSY ARTIST (2) has been showing decent gate speed and could run to the top here and try and control, looks to get a real opportunity. ROCKNROLL LIBERTY (9) has been disappointing the last few runs but overall, this is a suitable race for this maiden. RANGER RED (1) drawn well but mixing his form and has a nice draw to work with and is a novelty chance with NELLYS WORLD (3) and MAELSTROME (8).

Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN ENVY ME (7) each way.

Race 4

WESTBURN ROCKSTAR (1) has good ability and returns from the perfect draw, had a few tricks last time in but overall ability looks strong for this. PARAGLIDER (8) is ideally drawn and has the fitness on his side, gets another opportunity but was beaten as a short priced favourite last time out, will get the last look at them. A PRECIOUS GEM (3) reads up well breeding wise for this and must be respected. THEBAREFOOTPIRATE (7) was much better last time out, draw hurts but can continue the improve. ROCKNROLL EAGLE (2) drawn well and was solid on debut and found it difficult

Suggested Bet: WESTBURN ROCKSTAR (1) to win.

Race 5

PHILTHEJUG (2) has come back well and has some decent speed, looks likely to run to the lead and should give them something to catch. BLOCKJORG (6) was good in her most recent effort making ground from an impossible position, she doesn’t win out of turn these days but should be threatening at some stage. ELWADDELS SISTER (10) is second up and should be running home strongly. HEAVENLY BLISS (4) looks to face a decent challenge as she most likely doesn’t find the top. WESMEDAD (5) is a chance to run into the money if she can get up on speed, her run two starts ago was good.

Suggested Bet: PHILTHEJUG (2) to win.

Race 6

MISTER CONSTITUTION (2) has come back in good form, first up run was good, second up run was dominant and looks to be even better third up, looks a major player to lead and will take all kinds of running down. SWITCH BLADE (5) likely to be up on speed as he has decent speed and usually sticks on well. ME FLASH (3) lacks early speed but is racing well enough to still feature. MAJOR MANHATTAN (10) and ARUM (11) will be running on strongly, both racing well. LUKE ATTACK (1) can be placed at his best but isn’t racing well at the middle distance and is a novelty chance with ERA (7) and TOMMY PRICE (8).

Tips: 2 5 3 7

Suggested Bet: MISTER CONSTITUTION (2) to win.

Race 7

FLOAT MY BOAT (8) is the best horse in the field but is on return and draws incredibly tricky, wouldn’t want to be diving in too short but if the gaps open, he will be very hard to beat. HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (9) will punch through hard and be handy to them and has been racing well in this grade and should feature in the money. SONIC SEELSTER (2) has the speed to lead but has had a few opportunities now. ASHBY (3) is racing well enough to be around the money again. MISTER KOPA (5) has brilliant gate speed and might try and cross but hard to cross SONIC SEELSTER (2) which will make life harder. MONTERIO (6) likely heads forward and can do the work and stick on well. IDONTWANABEAPIRATE (10) will also be running on, racing consistently.

Suggested Bet: HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (9) each way.

Race 8

BEYOND THE SEA (6) is on return for Micheal Ferguson who has done a good job with his small stable in the past, looks a major player in this and has a few strings to her bow. RAKLOU (9) will suit the bigger track, but form hasn’t been anything to get too excited about, likely holds a large part of the market. EKARA NAVAJO (5) is a big chance to lead, caught the eye last time out and will be hard to run down and expecting her to run a good race. OUR RICH CARGO (7) faces a challenging draw, will be running on but needs a few things to go her way.

Tips: 6 5 9 7

Suggested Bet: BEYOND THE SEA (6) to win.
