Race 1

LEO NARRDO (6) trialled up well and the form lines around the trial have been strong, showed some speed and will be hard to beat here. Main danger on exposed trial form is REINE DU SOLEIL (3) also trialled well behind Hez The Boss who was impressive last Monday, has the better draw and looks to run a bold race. RUSSIAN SNIPER (1) has shown promise and has the lovely draw, should be thereabouts with WOODBRIDGE ROSE (4) who wasn’t disgraced on debut.

Tips: 6 3 1 4

Suggested Bet: REINE DU SOLEIL/LEO NARRDO to Quinella.

Race 2

How do you go past GRUMPEE (11) he won the Trotters Cup on Friday with a gutsy performance, also stepped very quickly so can make up valuable ground in the early stages over the short course stand, all things being equal, he should win. OLD DOMINION (7) is with a good stable and must be respected in his first run in WA, keep safe. COL DU GRANON (1) should settle close enough and be in the money. BEE BEE BEROC (9) needs a safe getaway but was a good effort last time out, therefore the start is key, novelty chance with ELISH STAR (5) and THE HONOURS (8).

Suggested Bet: GRUMPEE/OLD DOMINION to Exacta.

Race 3

SOUTHERNER (2) has the perfect draw and was a good win when able to capitalise on the favourite galloping last time out, his last two have been strong and now looks to have found his rhythm and can go back-to-back in this. HE IS TALKING (3) has ability and should settle close enough. DELTARIFFIC (5) has a lot of high speed, smaller field will see him close off strongly again. CINCH (8) was a decent winner last time out, needs some luck from the draw but can go on with it now. Novelty chances to BUTTER ME UP (9), COCOBOLO (7) and EL RAES GIRL (4).

Suggested Bet: SOUTHERNER (2) to win.

Race 4

FABULOUS DREAM (6) returns and has a solid amount of early speed, looks likely to burn to the top early and should be game over from there. TAXI IT IS (5) has come back well, she has good ability and this will be a good test for her to see where she is at. OUR SERAPHINA (2) and EASTON QUALITY (3) will fight out the early lead, the latter crossed last time out but Gary Hall Jnr goes aboard OUR SERAPHINA (2) and he is a hard man to get past. THE SWINDLER (7) has ability, needs a lead time to bring her into the race.

Suggested Bet: FABULOUS DREAM/TAXI IT IS to Exacta.

Race 5

Open race. XCITE ME (1) has the good draw and good early speed, looks the likely leader and will give them something to catch. HES NEVER BEEN BETA (5) comes in fresh but was racing consistently, likely be forward enough with work behind the scenes. WALL STREET GIRL (2) is racing well, early speed a concern but with no back line she looks to settle close enough. COMO EL VIENTO (6) did plenty of work last start as a beaten favourite and wasn’t disgraced, good test for him. WICKED HUSTLER (7) was a good win last time out, needs some tempo on. LOUIE LEBEAU (3) and TRAVELBAN (4) are capable.

Suggested Bet: WALL STREET GIRL (2) each way.

Race 6

Tough race to work out. THE WHIZZER (3) will find this harder in this grade but showed good early speed last time out and looks the early leader and has options from there, can be around the mark. LUKE ATTACK (9) doesn’t win out of turn, this grade suits and he’s one of the few who can be put into the race. PACIFIC EAGLE (1) with the ideal draw, racing soundly and ready to run a big race. SLAMMA ALABAMA (5) is fitter, and the first up effort wasn’t his best, front row draw could see him use some of his early speed. SHES ALL GO (4) has come back well, up to this grade. YOU FLY WITH ME (7) drawn tough and VYBRANT (8) will run home well with even luck.

Suggested Bet: LUKE ATTACK (9) each way.

Race 7

IT IS CRUNCH TIME (10) finds a perfect race where he should return to the winners list, can watch things unfold before being put into it and on his current form, although he is coming in fresh, I think he will get the job done. JACKIE DANIELS (7) returns to the stables of David Young, form in her last few had been solid and she comes in fresh also but will be running on strongly. BEALAWYER (1) has options from the draw, consistent performer. HOTFOOT IT (3) is a novelty chance, has some early speed and likely to have a look for the top. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (8) is a novelty chance from the soft draw.

Tips: 10 7 3 1

Suggested Bet: JACKIE DANIELS (7) to place.

Race 8

OH MIKI (11) is ready to win, has been racing in good form with some excuses in recent runs on the metro card, can be put into the race and on the bigger track I think we will see him go very close. LORD PUBLISHER (2) has some early speed and will look for the top, good front running type if he could get there, he would run well. BARBADOS (1) has had a few opportunities lately, nice draw and a place. BETTOR MOVE ALONG (5) has put together two decent runs, looks a novelty chance in this from a tricky draw. RONALD SCOTT (8) going well but this draw is very awkward for his racing style, he is ready to win though.
