Race 1

HALFMOONBAY (8) was fantastic in his last win, sustained a long run and that was off the back of a freshen up and the prior run was superb as well, only lightly raced but looks a lively type and is capable of overcoming the draw at the trip. DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (11) returns and has always shown ability, trial was sound and with a bit of speed on early, looks to suit him from the back row. MONTERIO (12) won on return and is capable in this grade, looks to be running home well but won’t find the top which makes it harder. LUCK FROM ABOVE (1) has a nice chance from the draw but early speed a concern, SLOANIE BELL (3), WRITTENINTHESKY (4) both have gate speed and can test early. MACH FREEWAY (9) faces a tough draw but is a novelty chance with CANELO (10).

Suggested Bet: HALFMOONBAY (8) to win.

Race 2

Open race. GLOBAL HERITAGE (7) looks ready to run a decent race and not a quick front line, not that he’s known for brilliant gate speed but I think he can ping forward and get a decent position and has been unlucky his last couple, happy to play. SALSAWITHSIERRA (10) has a tricky draw and will rely on some luck but will be dangerous with clear air. BATAVIA WEST (4) is speedy and could cross in this and then can run a decent race in this grade, FIREBALL FRIDAY (1) and SUNPATRA (3) both novelty chances and can be close to the speed. LETS ROCK TONIGHT (8) is a suitable performer in this grade but needs to get into it and the distance might be against him a touch. SONIC CHIP (12) is another who likes to be on speed.

Suggested Bet: GLOBAL HERITAGE (7) each way.

Race 3

MYSTA MOON WALKER (8) faces a tricky draw but is ready to win, will be looking to find a position and could be a bit happening early and think it’ll suit him nicely, expecting him to go close. FOLLOW MY STRIDE (1) will be looking to hold up early over the short course, she can mix her gate speed but will be close enough to earn. BLOCKJORG (3) and BUNDEGI BLUE (4) will both be coming out and have a winning chance if they can cross but could be a staggered effect. SHES A MARE (6) was luckless last time out, awkward draw but ready to win. LUHRSY (11) and TRUNKEY CARRAWA (10) both drawn to get soft runs and will be running on.

Suggested Bet: MYSTA MOON WALKER (8) to win.

Race 4

MY HAMMER DOWN (5) trialled well and looks a hard horse to hold out, has a lot of high speed and looks a versatile chance for the new trainer. YAWOMA (3) has elevated to consistent form again in recent runs and will be there at the business end. GO JACK CROCKER (2) creates interest and has drawn in class, respect. JOLTED CHARM (1) has options from the draw and loves being close to the speed. BET ON THE RIVER (6), BLITZAR (10) and LADY CAMEL (11) all novelty chances.

Tips: 5 3 2 1

Suggested Bet: MY HAMMER DOWN (5) to win.

Race 5

LOU LAMOUR (1) was a good effort when firing out and taking the cover, made the favourite work to get past him and then outsprinted him late, most notable about that was it wasn’t an immediate hand up and looks like Chris Lewis will want to hold the top here and the way he went last time out, hard to get past him again. SISTER CHERIE (2) has the perfect draw to drop in behind and was a good effort after the last start gear misdemeanour. OUR VINNIE (7) has strings to his bow and will run a good race here. THE BETTOR SIDE (5) will hit the line well and be a chance. GOODTIME LOUIS (3) find this harder with the speed to his inside and that theory also falls on LONGREACH BAY (8).

Suggested Bet: LOU LAMOUR (1) to win.

Race 6

QUEEN OF ALL (11) stepped outside of her grade and ran a big race last time out, looks a strong chance in this back to the correct class, would prefer a front row draw but looks very hard to beat in this. CIGANDA (9) ready to win but faces the difficult draw, might push the button and try and get to the top as its not the quickest front line, go well in this. WATCHING LIPPY (2) is a place chance as she could lead early and has options. ELIZABETH AITCH (3) has always been a tricky horse to catch, sound return. LIL MISS DELIGHT (4) and ELLEOFAREACTOR (8) both novelty chances form their respective draws.

Suggested Bet: QUEEN OF ALL (11) to win.

Race 7

SIR ALEC WHITBY (2) is knocking on the door loudly and has the speed to get to the top, still progressing and building some toughness, looks a major player in this but will have to do it at both ends. CHEVRONS GOLD (9) and AZIONE (10) both weren’t disgraced with performances outside of their grade on a Friday night, the latter has the better draw to work with and could be dangerous. PRINCESS AVIATOR (11) has ability and is on return, will be closing off strongly in this. PAPPINBARRA LADY (4) a novelty chance with LADY OF LEITH (5) and MARGIMAC (6).

Tips: 2 11 10 9

Suggested Bet: SIR ALEC WHITBY (2) to win.

Race 8

CONTESSA JULIE (3) impressed with the way she ran through the line on return at Pinjarra, looks to have come back well and strikes a winnable race, very hard to beat in this. IZZY ROSE (7) has started the career off solidly and looks the main danger in the race, still learning the caper and will be dangerous in this. ROCKNROLL LIBERTY (5) and EL EDWIN (8) have shown promise and will be close enough where it matters, could be dangerous late.

Tips: 3 1 7 10

Suggested Bet: CONTESSA JULIE (3) to win.

Race 9

MYSTERY FRED (7) will win again with a safe getaway, has a 30m advantage over the main danger in the race and on the performances since entering the state he should keep on going through his grades with ease. ALDEBARAN BOYD (8) is a talented type who will have to overcome the tough handicap but will be running into the money. LOTS OF CHANGE (1) hasn’t really fired yet but is a novelty chance with BEE BEE BEROC (2) and YANKEE LOVER (5).

Tips: 7 8 2 1

Suggested Bet: MYSTERY FRED (7) to win.

Race 10

MISS TRIBECA (2) is ready to win and this looks a suitable grade, early speed can be a bit hit and miss but has a few strings to her bow here, wouldn’t want to be diving in too short. ASHANESIA (8) has upside and has come back well and looks a solid chance even from a difficult draw. WESSY KID (1) has the nice draw and is a likely improver in this. A LITTLE BIT EASIE (4) didn’t have much luck last time out and is an outside chance with some luck in running at potential odds. PORT TO PLEASE (7) could find this easier but the draw is challenging.
