Matt Young’s Friday Wagin Preview Posted on August 29, 2025August 29, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 JACK MANNIX (5) had no luck last time out and still finished the race off strongly, looks a suitable grade but an awkward draw, if he goes anywhere near like he did last time out he should go close. HOLD YOUR FIRE (3) comes in fresh and has shown good promise, this grade will suit just depends on whether he is forward enough. TELL ITIN HEAVEN (6) is a speedy type who is racing well, willing to forgive the last run and suggest he’s a novelty chance in this. DEKLA DIVA (9) will be hoping for a war, and she’ll get home well. EASTON QUALITY (7) yet to show her best this time in, drawn softly. DAWSON SHARD (10) not the worst but looks more a place chance. Tips: 5 6 3 9 Suggested Bet: JACK MANNIX (5) to win. Race 2 Open race. KOLISI (6) is a last start winner, and the form line has carried on, he can do work in his races and should be on speed and run well. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (10) is ready to win, draw is awkward, but performances have been solid. SOUNDS LIKE FUN (7) drawn to get a soft run but is following out a roughie and that makes her task harder. IDEAL SECRET (9) is racing well, he will be getting home strongly. TEMPT THE STARS (8) is worth including in your novelties, has been rather luckless lately and could surprise at odds. I SEE FIRE (4) is a tricky horse to follow, can run well if his mind is on the task. Tips: 6 10 7 9 Suggested Bet: KOLISI (6) to win. Race 3 CRY HAVOC (10) hasn’t had the best of luck recently but strikes a suitable race, he can watch things unfold and, in this grade, expect him to put in a solid 600-800m burst and be very hard to hold out. SPORTING GRACE (3) looks the likely leader and can get keen, so tempo will be solid enough, will run a bold race. LORD PUBLISHER (6) has an awkward draw to contend with, he is there abouts but has opened short enough. DONTWAKEMEUP (2) has had a few opportunities. RADIANT BAY (5) racing well with DISPATCHER (4) but awkward draws for their racing styles. SUB MARINER (8) was solid last run and can figure in the novelties with ASHANTI PRINCESS (9) who will be running home strongly. Tips: 10 3 6 2 Suggested Bet: CRY HAVOC (10) to win. Race 4 WINEGUM (5) gets into this race well off his current form and looks a strong chance, but he is very short in this. SUKHOVEY WINDSTORM (7) looks set to get a great run and has been racing well, should get the last crack at them in this. BLOCKJORG (2) looks the likely leader but prefer her at the shorter distance. TROUBLE SUPREME (8) not at his best but suited to this grade and with the small field will be close enough. THE BEACH MASTER (9) capable of improvement. SMOKEYS SHADOW (4) is talented enough but isn’t at his best while ATOMIC FEEL (6) rises in grade. Tips: 5 7 8 9 Suggested Bet: SUKHOVEY WINDSTORM (7) each way. Race 5 Strong race for the 3yo’s here. SHES ALL GO (4) was solid in her most recent effort and has the draw advantage, looks a strong player in this. DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (5) has got a few tricks but also has good ability, this grade suits him well too. BLITZAR (6) will be hoping they go to war, his last couple have been strong and expecting him to be closing off strongly. CAPTURE THE MOMENT (7) bumps into a solid field but it’s still a significant drop off what she has been racing, can improve. Tips: 4 5 6 7 Suggested Bet: SHES ALL GO (4) to win. Race 6 LITTLE MISS MOLLY (5) should go on her winning way here but will be incredibly short, has good early speed and should run to the lead and be very hard to gun down. HEADLINE ADDA (3) returns and creates interest, shouldn’t be too far away from them and has shown promise. SUKHOVEY WINDCHIME (1) has the nice draw and should be close enough to them, continues to improve. POPPYS LAST DANCE (7) and SHESA DELIGHT (4) next best. Tips: 5 1 3 7 Suggested Bet: SUKHOVEY WINDCHIME (1) to place. Market Market
