Race 1

BUT JOE (6) has a heap of early speed and could ping across and potentially lead, looks suited here and should go close as he should be close to the speed. GAMETIME (3) is first up for Ashleigh Markham and this grade suits what we have seen from him, looks to be an improve in this. SAVE ME (2) has improved a touch recently but still looks more a place chance with the stablemate THE KHUKRI (4). WATCHING LIPPY (5) and TAYLORS BOY FRED (10) next best.

Suggested Bet: BUT JOE (6) to win.

Race 2

THE SWINDLER (9) has had a few opportunities and has shown better form than what she meets tonight but a few negatives is that she can be mixed in her form and not always live up to expectations and she is first up, could be short in this and doesn’t appeal as a betting proposition at a shorter quote. STRAUNYS SISTER (6) had no luck last time out and still ran a solid race, looks suited to run a bold race. CINDYS SECRET (5) is capable and has the draw advantage. SAVE THIS DANCE (10) may need the run but will be getting home well with further improvement expected from ALL ABOUT AMERICA (8).

Suggested Bet: STRAUNYS SISTER (6) each way.

Race 3

SUB MARINER (4) is an on-speed type and the draw and distance suits to see him run a bold race; he looks suited in this grade and expect him to run a big race here. HEAVENLY BLISS (9) didn’t have much luck last time out but even from the back row she is versatile enough to get home strongly. ELEPHANT ROCK (8) is racing well, shouldn’t be too far away. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (5) needs some luck from the draw but has been sound and consistent as of late. IDEAL WHITBY (3) and GO HOME JO (6) both novelty chances from their respective draws.

Suggested Bet: SUB MARINER (4) to win.

Race 4

STELLA MAJOR (1) has been catching the eye in recent runs, has the perfect draw and looks a solid each way chance. Slight concern is that in her career she has never led but has got some early speed. GHOSTWRITER (10) is suited in this grade, has some traffic to overcome but should be in the thick of it. DISPATCHER (7) needs a touch of luck but looks dangerous with even racing luck. ISAIDBOO (9) will be running on. Place chances to THE WHIZZER (2), MISTER SAUVAGE (4) and SECOND AMENDMENT (6).

Suggested Bet: STELLA MAJOR (1) each way.

Race 5

JAMIE KIM (3) has good early speed and looks a big chance to work across and lead, if he can find the top, I think he can get the job done. THE RIGHTEOUS (6) has been racing in good form and although must overcome a wide draw looks to be a significant player but just needs some luck in running. GOODONYA MATE (1) has the draw to run into the placings, solid novelty chance. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (7) will need a touch of luck late but racing well enough to be dangerous. EASTON QUALITY (8) racing well enough but needs some tempo on and KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (9) is coming in fresh.

Tips: 3 6 7 1

Suggested Bet: JAMIE KIM (3) to win.

Race 6

BREWERY LANE (6) will be flying out like he normally does and with the short course stand he looks to bounce on the lead potentially and if that happens, I think he can get the win here. RAMBO RABBIT (1) is racing well enough; the short course stand looks suitable but has had a few opportunities. GOGGINS (10) hit the line strongly last run and must overcome the handicap but has the ability. TELL ITIN HEAVEN (4) has really improved recently but requires some luck in running, looks a novelty chance. FOLLOW THE MUSIC (8) is capable but like the rest of the stable, he is coming in fresh.

Tips: 6 1 10 4

Suggested Bet: BREWERY LANE (6) to win.

Race 7

STRANIERO DEL MARE (5) has hit a purple patch of form and looks hard to beat here, has the draw advantage over the horse that beat her last time out and looks hard to beat. OUR BLUE DIAMOND (6) looks a better chance if she could lead so the draw makes life a lot harder. THE SLIPPERY DIP (1) looks the likely leader and stuck on well after doing work last time out, should run a bold race. SHES A SWEETMOVER (3) was better in the most recent effort comes in with novelty claims with KUNGFU WARRIOR (7) who has shown enough promise but is still learning the caper.

Tips: 5 1 6 7

Suggested Bet: THE SLIPPERY DIP/STRANIERO DEL MARE to quinella.
