Race 1

HEZ THE BOSS (8) was fantastic in his most recent trial, did the work and was too strong in good time against some nice types, has the depth to overcome the draw and is the one to beat. IDEAL WHISPER (7) is a nice type on return, no trial to speak of and might need the run but his talent can put him in the money. BENOA BAY (6) trials have been good and smaller field suits, will be running on with novelty chances to JETPACK (2) and RIP TIDE (4).

Suggested Bet: HEZ THE BOSS (8) to win.

Race 2

Open race. SUN PUBLISHER (12) caught the eye last time out and will be running on in this, looks to be enough happening to bring him into it. No guaranteed leader here with speed from HOTFOOT IT (1) who was better last run. MADAME MAGGIE (2), TRITTRITTBANGBANG (3), PINNY NOIR (4) and TRUE GRIT (5) all have speed with the latter a strong chance if he could find the top. HOLY HECKA (8) has the ability but faces the tough draw again. TRAVELBAN (7) had no luck last time out, capable of a solid run here and INTO THE FUTURE (11) is improving nicely and won’t be far away again.

Suggested Bet: SUN PUBLISHER (12) each way.

Race 3

IDEAL INTEREST (4) has the speed to bounce on the lead and run a good race, battled on soundly in the Higgins heat at Bunbury and the half mile track will suit him in this. CHARIVARI (7) is capable but better when he could lead and unlikely to get that luxury. TASHS SPARTAN (3) and BET ON THE RIVER (5) drawn to be prominent and race well closer to the speed. ERA (10) will run on well if he gets into the clear. Draw hurts for ME FLASH (9) and MYSTA MOON WALKER (8) and a place chance from the pole marker FRANKENSTEINSBRIDE (1).

Tips: 4 3 7 5

Suggested Bet: IDEAL INTEREST (4) to win.

Race 4

HUNGER STRIKE (1) gets the draw and has the speed to lead; good front running type and will be hard to run down. FULL SWING DENARIO (2) was a solid effort after doing the work last time out and will settle close enough again. SPITFIRE (10) faces a tricky draw for his racing style but is racing well and even luck would see him in the money. BLING IT UP (3) can improve, keep safe. HILLVIEW BONDI (9) likely rolls forward and does the work and can stick on with novelty chances to STARLIGHT DREAM (4), THELITTLE MASTER (7) and SAIFA (12).

Tips: 1 2 10 9

Suggested Bet: HUNGER STRIKE (1) to win.

Race 5

Happy to play some value in this. PETES HONOUR (12) is knocking on the door and performs well in standing starts, needs a touch of luck but will be dangerous in the last lap. DAWSON (6) stepped well but couldn’t get the advantage last time out, could bounce to the lead in this and run a big race. STORMY VISTA (7) could face some traffic issues and much prefer when he can lead so things get tougher if he doesn’t. LUVBITE (14) is flying and will be powering home again after a good run in the Winter Cup. ARTFUL MAJOR (11) is racing consistently with MEDIEVAL MAN (10) and novelty chances BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (3), BLAZE AWAY (4) and ALTA TRIBUTE (13).

Suggested Bet: PETES HONOUR (12) each way.

Race 6

OUR CRUNCH TIME (4) will be looking to get across to the lead and appears very hard to beat, could do the work outside them, if need be, go well. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (1) will be looking to hold early and has decisions to make, has come back soundly. SOHO MOONRAKER (2) going well enough to earn, early speed is good but drawn right alongside makes it harder. LUCCA (11) won’t get the luxury of leading here but will be close enough punching through from the second line. MAXIMUM ROCK (10) is a winning chance with even luck. TALKS UP A STORM (12) hit the line well last start and will be running on well with HOTLY PURSUED (9) who has a poor draw.

Tips: 4 1 10 11

Suggested Bet: OUR CRUNCH TIME (4) to win.

 Race 7

BEACH DIAMOND (8) trialled well and has an outstanding record, looks very hard to beat off the back of the slick trial at Pinjarra and must be respected here. POPPYONTHEBEACH (5) could look to lead and won a feature mares event from that position two starts ago, goes well on speed. SWEET COCO (7) has talent but also can be quite a cranky mare, should be in the top 4 and HEAVENLY GIPSY (9) will be running home strongly but needs a good tempo to suit.

Tips: 8 5 9 7

Suggested Bet: BEACH DIAMOND (8) to win.

Race 8

GOODTIME LOUIS (2) will be coming out looking for the top, he is a good front running type and put the writing on the wall last start. ARIONROCK (1) couldn’t get in the race after being crossed early last start, needs to lead in this for mine. ILLAWONG MUSTANG (10) drawn to get a good run and is racing well. CAPTAIN SAID SO (7) is in top form and will come into it late with his high speed. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (11) will be running on and be better suited back to a mobile. CORDERO (6) needs luck but wasn’t a bad effort on return.

Tips: 2 10 1 7

Suggested Bet: ILLAWONG MUSTANG (10) each way.

Race 9

CURADH (9) is in stellar form and is developing every time he races, and this grade looks to suit, can overcome the draw and be hard to beat. MAJOR DISCO (8) is a consistent performer and no reason he won’t be in the money, could be driven to keep the advantage. DIAMOND WORLD (3) looks the likely leader early and has options after that. LOU LAMOUR (12) will be running on strongly with chances to SHEER ROCK LADY (10) who is capable but has yet to return to her best.

Tips: 9 3 8 12

Suggested Bet: CURADH (9) to win.

Race 10

UP AND ALIVE (2) looks the leader and has good fighting qualities when in the lead, should be able to roll along and will be hard to beat. EASTBRO CHRISSY (7) will have to do the work and will be right in the thick of it, major player again. LUCKY COPY (3) drawn to get a soft run and can be placed in this grade. CAPTAINSHAVTIME (4) unlikely to cross and comes in fresh, they may go more conservative in this. WALL STREET GIRL (1) capable but early speed is not an asset of hers.

Tips: 2 7 3 4

Suggested Bet: UP AND ALIVE/EASTBRO CHRISSY to Quinella.
