Kalgoorlie Cup Market Update Posted on September 22, 2017September 22, 2017 | Posted by David Shortte There has been strong support for the Sharon Miller trained Shinta Mani with TABtouch to take out Sunday’s Listed XXXX Gold Kalgoorlie Cup over 2300 metres. After taking out the TABtouch Hannan’s Handicap on Thursday aboard Disposition WA’s premier Jockey William Pike will be looking to take out the big Goldfield’s double aboard the Sharon Miller trained mare. Pike teamed up with Shinta Mani last Sunday when Runner-Up in the Boulder Cup over 2100 metres and he will be hoping the extra 200 metres works in favour of the daughter of Viscount. The winner of the Boulder Cup Already Famous is well thought of on the second line at $5 while Dark Alert who finished a close up 5th in that race is also rated a $5 chance. The Stephen Rowe trained Danehills Daughter comes into the race in sparkling form having won her last 4 straight races over a journey at Belmont and she looks a nice each way play at $5.50. Broome Cup winner Gloryland has been specked at bigger odds firming from $18 into $15 while the Pete Fernie trained Black Moment has seen it’s price slashed from $91 into $41. Good luck with your thoughts on the Cup.
