Can amble down the outside to the first turn and with the speed inside getting across to the fence, he can land right up there and out of trouble to put himself in this. Runs time and loves the draw. Big EW show. Race 8 No. 3 Spider Venom His last two much better and looks back to his better form now. A little disappointing last time when running 3rd in a weak race but it gets easier again here. Wide runner outside gives him that early room. He can get straight there and become very hard to stop. Race 9 No. 7 Pudding Monelli Interesting race this. Still black odds and considering he has panels on the 2nd fav who is only a point in odds away and is an infinitely better dog than her, she has more conviction than him and keeps her mind on the job where this bloke in 7 doesn’t always do that. Trust is needed here but if he repeats last weeks effort, and he chases without fault, he will destroy these. He is just likely to get there though and not go on. Price is too good to refuse though and take on trust. Race 10 No. 8 Wild Ollie He’s had no choice but to come to Cannington now and he is boxed to bring his Mandurah form here. Can step and dash and has a good beginning fence-crasher inside him so at the odds he is definitely worth an EW play. Race 12 No. 1 Aussie Trickster and No. 7 Opie Monelli With clear runs, there are only two hopes. The 1 is boxed perfectly here and gets the best run into the back ever. Only has to step and muster up and can take the arm here. That would be almost it……unless the 7 got right there. Big effort last time sustaining a long run home and will improve immensely here. He’s got a lot of ability and a clear danger. THE MEADOWS Race 6 No. 8 Apache Shout and No. 2 Foxtrot Tango The 8 only has to offset the box here to be a major threat. Goes super around this track and trip and was a very good run last time. The 2 is a little smoky spec EW and can land up there and stick on. Nothing flash but capable. 8 should go close though. Race 9 No. 6 Many Ways Box is tricky but he’s not hopeless here. Goes fast up the back so if he can navigate a clear run to the first turn and land handy, he would run into this at odds and hit the line for an EW play. Don’t dismiss him completely here. He can figure. WENTWORTH PARK Race 5 No. 8 Cartel Model Stepped only fairly but really mustered hard to take over first turn last week and that was that. Put them away easily. Boxed the same and this no harder and repeat wouldn’t surprise. Strong and can come from behind as well. EW all day with any luck. Race 9 No. 2 Cawbourne Roses Resuming and while she can get back, she rails hard and really hits the line over this sprint trip so should go well fresh. Only has the 2 runs track and trip and won and placed each. If she’s fit enough, she is good enough. Place heavy here. Market Market
