Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 17, 2024April 17, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 6 All About Slate He’s had 16 starts here and yet to break through but he isn’t getting a better chance than this. Multiple place getter and racing well lately. This is his chance. Race 4 No. 1 Left Right Now and No. 3 Diesel Fit Her The 1 is better boxed wide but he does usually step and with the short run to the first turn, he could hold up here and won’t be caught if that happens. The 3 will challenge for the arm early and he’s another who is very hard to get over this trip when he leads. Both strong hopes. Race 5 No. 4 Leclerc and No. 7 No Trace The 4 lacks dash but he is ultra consistent around here and will find the fence quickly here and hard to hold out late. The 7 is improving every start and while this is his acid test, he will be a price and can surprise. Race 8 No. 7 Litchfield Continues to race well over this trip and she will again step and try and sweep around early. Only has to be within striking range and she will be hard to stop. Race 9 No. 6 Bracton and No. 1 Onyx Speed Limited race with dogs of limited ability. The 6 is probably the most capable and while he isn’t racing at his top, none of these are and he can bounce back here easily. The 1 is also a surprise packet here. He hits the line well and has raced much better dogs than these lately and is boxed to give a showing. Race 10 No. 1 Charlie’s Harley Missed the start last week and that was the end of his chances. Normally a reliable box dog and he should spear out off this inside draw and go all the way. Won’t be caught if he leads these and looks the one. Race 11 No, 4 Expediential Wants to get wide but he misses the start anyway so he will end up out where he wants to be. Has the ability and been off for a few weeks so will be fresher here and can surprise if he gets into this early and out wide. Race 12 No. 8 Clifton Matilda Good beginner who is known over longer but she’s not hopeless here. Could hold her line out wide and if she can get through the flat spot she has through the middle, she just might stick on late and run home well into the frame. Small EW spec. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 6 Flying Envy Race 4 No. 4 Learned Lesson Race 9 No. 6 Microscopic Market Market
