Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 7, 2024February 7, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 6 No. 4 Miss Valentine and No. 1 West On Fever Good race and start critical. If the 4 steps and clears the dog in box 2 then she can go close to leading throughout. Racing well and goes ok here. The 1 will get a peach here on the fence if the 2 does step as she gets wide. He has a super record off this draw and looks his race. Race 7 No. 5 Bergelmir and No. 6 Stranger Within The 5 is going well and starting to come in from off the arm. Hardest test to date but will close off late and should be a price. The 6 will show that early dash again and just needs to cross the 3 here and he will then lead most the way. Hard to catch on the arm. Race 8 No. 6 Opal Deluxe and No. 8 Dozen Staples The 6 is stepping fast lately and it’s the last little bit where she gets tired. This is much easier though and she might hold on here. The 8 beat her home last week and she continues to run on albeit in steady time. Not a hard race though and could hit the frame again. Race 10 No. 2 Getaway Sticks This is his chance. Has been constantly surprising lately with good efforts in tougher races and boxed to go close to scoring this time. Makes a fast run up the back and can sustain that home. Just needs a good step and a little luck into the back. Great chance here. Race 11 No. 2 Kenny Keeping and No. 3 Confetti Emoji The 2 revels an inside draw and relishes not having to go around dogs. Will again power home along the rails and should hit the frame EW. The 3 can handle the rise in company here. Loves this track and trip and will look for the gaps up the back. Strong home. Race 12 No. 6 Liquor License The 6 gets her chance to spear on to the arm in this company. Goes a lot better when solo out front and just finding one better early lately. Can lead these however and this is her chance. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 1 Bun Volcano Tremendous run last Saturday when taken off the track first turn but recovered and stuck on well. Promising and has his box now to give this a huge shake. Race 6 No. 1 Aston Michigan Another who will relish this inside draw. Just needs to punch up and hold his spot then he get into his work and run over these on the back end home. Capable and boxed to figure. Race 8 No. 7 King Owen Just needs a little luck through the first turn and he will present with his run up the back. Can reel off big middle and last sections and small field suits perfectly. Hard to hold out. Race 9 No. 8 Home Brew Monster run last week when he made up so much ground it was almost unbelievable. Clearly would have won had he not met that trouble at the first turn and the step up in trip ideal now. The one to beat. Market Market
