Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 8, 2024February 8, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 4 No. 5 Hopeland and No. 6 Timmy Timebomb The 5 is coming out of some very hard races. Box is tricky but if she steps her best she can offset that and figure. The 6 will go fast early and could cross here. Hard to catch when he leads solo over this trip. Race 5 No. 3 Messed Up Mary and No. 7 Indy Go Ruby The 3 steps back up to the longer trip here and should could find the top early. Has gone good time here over the distance and can win. The 7 will appreciate the easier class here. Just needs to get over early and she will be in the finish. Race 6 No. 7 Simplicity Looking for a better showing here. Well drawn and good map could see him swish across early and he can go sub 17. His best effort will see him threaten here. Race 7 No. 4 Renegade Cochise and No. 6 Rex Hunter Great Dash final. All dogs have some chance. The 4 would be a moral if he began better than he does. Still, he has this electrifying turn of foot off the mat that few can combat. If he spears his way through early, it’s on. The 6 is the surprise packet here and he could rush across from the get go. Will go faster this week if he gets the arm and will take no end of catching. Big chances to 1,2 and 8 and it’s a super race. Race 10 No. 1 Nitro Park The 1 will try and push up here for the arm. She’s better when she leads and her effort last start was enough for this. Looks her race now. Race 12 No. 7 Alfie Tux Comes out of a Dash heat. Has great acceleration and gets a good cart over off the 6 here. If he takes up the running from that he will then go all the way. This is his to lose. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 6 Maximum Moreland Good run last week in a middle trip final at The Meadows. Seems to enjoy the middle of the track so box is ok and can reel off strong run homes. Will look threatening late. Race 5 No. 3 Emerley Zoe and No. 5 Voice Of Thunder The 3 gets her chance now. Has a big motor and just needs to hold a position early and will prove very hard to hold out here. The 5 keeps coming and he can also get up there early. Trip is ideal for him now and will take some beating if he’s close at the top. Race 6 No. 4 Jye’s Jet and No. 8 Irma Prince The 4 will be a huge price but he drops to the fence here and the 1 and 3 both goes fast and tire and even get wide. The 4 will just keep attacking the line but he does have tricks. Place heavy at least. The 8 will also run on here and he might go across heels as well early. Has raced good company and will be an EW show. Race 7 No. 1 Stella Girl and No. 2 Pickled Piper Last chance for the 1. She is stepping but not challenging at the first turn then drops out only to storm home. If she can hold her spot she will go close this time but has to. The 2 is ready for another go at the trip. Has been racing super lately and will look to run into this up the back. Don’t ignore her. Race 9 No. 3 Rock Me Rocco He just needs to stay close at the first turn and he can charge Into this up the back. Goes much better than his form shows and will take a lot to hold him out if he’s close turning. Big show with early luck. Market Market
