Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 24, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 2 Pyroclasm and No. 5 Confetti Emoji These two meet again this week and the tables might be turned here. That’s because the boxes favour the 2 who could hold the front this week and sneak away. She’s going well and drawn to lead clearly off her best step. The 5 will have to navigate a passage off a tricky draw but she can do that and be hard to stop. Race 6 No. 1 Vander Harley Sneaky hope here at odds off the inside box. Lacks a little dash but she’s desperate for the fence and this could get messy here at the first turn. If she holds up early, she’s a big threat on the way home at odds. Good each way hope. Race 8 No. 8 Kenny Keeping and No. 7 Shian Pedro While the 8 is better drawn in, he might get around here and get into a spot. He sustains a good run home and will be a price here to play. The 7 gave them one of his drubbings last week but that was off the red. If he presents at an each way quote this week he is always worth a play off any box as he’s that good. Nothing too short for him though as the draw is tricky here. Race 9 No. 8 Stranger Within and No. 4 Shy Emoji The 8 couldn’t quite cross clearly last week but gets another chance to lead here. He’s a different dog when he does get the arm by himself. The 4 was good after taking a fence run last start and she is very strong on the way home. Will again slot over to the fence and if the run presents again, she will charge through the gears again. Don’t ignore her. Race 10 No. 7 Classic Style Great show here. A clean step is all that is between her and going seriously close in this. Will be each way odds but can deliver a knockout blow if she runs into it up the back. If she happens to lead, it’s over. Best smokie of the night. Market Market
