Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 29, 2023November 29, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 1 Happy Quinn Boxed to win. Best dog in the race who has the box manners and early speed to put these away very quickly and only has to lead to win. Nothing can come from the back and run her down. Race 5 No. 1 Extreme Rip She’s a great show here off the inside. With a few wide runners in the middle who can step, she will get every chance to punch up and find a forward position into the back. A replication of her win a few starts back will see her hit the frame here at a good price. Race 7 No. 6 Belle Violin and No. 2 Moment To Hustle This isn’t the distance for the 6. However, is one of very few dogs in this who can come from the back where most of these need to lead. He showed that last time with a fast finishing effort over this track and trip. Place heavy play at the good odds. The 2 wears the shades, but has early speed and good box manners. He also has a very good record at this track and is fresh. If he beats the red out and finds the arm, he’ll be hard to catch. Race 8 No. 3 Tiffany Keeping She won’t get a better chance here in this moderate 4/5th grade. With all the speed boxed out wide. there’s a chance she can find the front here and her best will see her not caught if she finds the arm. A big downgrade and should get the job done with a clean step. Race 9 No. 6 Surprised Fun and No. 8 Luna Sunrise The 6 will be her usual astronomical price but we know what we get with her. If she leads, she can run time and they won’t catch her at any old price. If she doesn’t find the arm, she will run closer to last than first, but there is a chance she could find the arm in this. The 8 was good last week going down by a short margin on the line. Gets the slingshot around here, has early speed and can go one better after her good effort last week. Race 10 No. 2 Shady Town and No. 7 Sophie Raider Only two possible hopes in this on best form. The 2 gets the draw here where he can find the arm quickly and his best will see him go all the way from there. No excuses this time. The 7 is equally adept and only has to offset the box to be a threat in this. Been racing much harder opposition than this. Leaning to the 2 save on the 7. Market Market
