The 2 got on the arm last week but was quickly dispatched by the kennel mate before holding down 2nd in fair time. Can lead again and go all the way. Expect the 1 to lift again to an improved level. Gradually putting in better runs and starting to get it all worked out. Boxed to give an EW sight. Race 7 No. 1 Guess Why and No. 4 Thirsty Friday The 1 won’t know herself back in the cherry here. It’s been some time since she’s seen a good draw and she has proven herself off this draw in the past. Has speed and can lead throughout. Don’t be surprised to see a better showing from the 4 here. Has been racing tougher opposition and only the box and corner start can hinder his chances at good odds. If he found the top at all, it will be good and night. Race 8 No. 6 Out Max and No. 3 My Dream Open affair here with several hopes. The 6 has is a talented and progressive type that can run sustained sections from the back and home. Can step as well but the box needs to sorted early which is his main task here. The 3 goes around 30.10/20 at her top and runs home ok. Might be enough to hit the dais here if she lands a spot. Not entirely out of this. Race 9 No. 4 Wild Amigo and No. 3 I’m The General The 4 has delivered some excellent runs since arriving in WA. While the draw is tricky, it may not be that bad with what’s around him and he could land right on the speed here. That would see him very very hard to stop. Expect some improvement from the 3. Lost his way a little last month and no luck last time. Could slide up the fence here and reel out his sub-22. It would be enough at the EW quote for a save. Race 10 No. 6 Tiger Town and No. 7 Global Plan The 6 was desperately unlucky at Northam last start. To put it simply, he should have won with a cricket pitch up his sleeve. Strung wide early off the outside box before working over the fence up the back. Went to make a race winning move only to be poleaxed and stood up cold. Went to make another run turning for home and just ran out of ground late. Went up a silly quote here and still a price to play EW. The only reservation is if he can bring the Northam form back here. I think he can. The 7 is having a crack at 500. Don’t be surprised if he crosses and gets away and proves hard to catch. He does have ability. Just had no luck from the corner starts lately. Smokie’s hope at a big price. The 6 the one for mine top 2 here. Race 12 No. 2 Prancer Lomar Master race and some good honest performers to go around here. The 2 looks ready to win again after his last effort. Almost led but held out and pushed off only for the winner to get the saloon run through. Stuck on ok and will get a much better passage here. Definite top 2 threat. Market Market
